Meet the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show’s freshman class of 2015.
While the annual lingerie show is consistently a smashing hit that calls forth major supermodels and A-list talent alike, this year’s display promises to be an even more novel occasion than ever before. For starters, the casting directors are majorly shaking up the model call sheet after former Angels Karlie Kloss and Doutzen Kroes returned their wings (also note that while she’s still with the brand, Lindsay Ellingson is no longer walking as an official Angel). And keeping pace with the rapid fire success of Instagram-star models, the VS directors have plucked Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner as the newest recruits for the annual fashion show.

With news of Kendall’s ascension to almost-Angel today and Gigi’s dream casting announcement made just last week, there’s guaranteed to be a big buzz around the runway’s two newest faces. But, they’re not the only new girls on the block…and perhaps not the last to be announced, either (we’re still crossing our fingers for Gigi’s little sis Bella Hadid, who did already land a VS Pink Holiday campaign, mind you).
Bear in mind, the current Victoria’s Secret runway show roster now includes Pink’s resident spokesmodel Rachel Hilbert, who (surprisingly) has yet to take the VS runway until this year. She has, however, appeared in a number of steamy campaigns, including a particularly cheeky one with Gigi.

Oh, and let’s not forget about the 10 (read—10!) new Angels replacing Karlie, Doutzen and Lindsay (although many have already walked in the show as mere ‘models’). Of course, they’ll join veteran Angel forces Candice Swanepoel, Behati Prinsloo, Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima and Lily Aldridge—who’s been bestowed the ultimate honor of wearing the $2 million fantasy bra—as the show returns to New York City this year.
So while you’re already acquainted with Gigi, Kendall, Bella (maybe) and Rachel, get a refresher on the newest Angel faces below—and keep your ears open for news of even more exciting casting announcements (we sure will!).
