Bikini models ready to strut their stuff in lingerie

TWO Darwin bikini models have been selected out of hundreds of hopefuls to compete in the finals of a “Victoria’s Secret-style” international lingerie model competition on the Gold Coast.
Aleisha Boyd and Ellen Musk, both 21, will strut their stuff in the International Lingerie Model search along with 15 other finalists from Australia and New Zealand at the Love Club in Broadbeach tonight.
The winner will be crowned International Lingerie Model of the Year and win a trip to Las Vegas to take part in one of the world’s biggest industry trade events, the Las Vegas International Lingerie Show where they’ll have a shot at $50,000 in prizes.
“It’s pretty amazing to have been selected to represent the NT and Monsoons,” Ms Boyd said. “Everyone involved is lovely and helping each other.’’
Ms Boyd was selected to represent the NT after winning the Territory heats.
Ms Musk won a place in the competition through a wildcard entry online.
“It’s a Victoria’s Secret-inspired competition so I’ve been googling a lot of their runway shows to get ideas for costumes,” Ms Boyd said.
“I’m hoping for a win but I’m not expecting it,” she said. “I’m just a little Darwin girl.”
