“I was never one of the skinny skinny girls who could eat whatever they wanted, so I certainly exercise and try to eat right. at the same time, I try to be a good role model for my daughter in terms of just accepting myself … I just trying to lead by example … I don’t want her to think that taking care of yourself means depriving yourself and not having fun,” Crawford said during a recent interview with Marie Claire.

Though Marie Claire states that the un-retouched photo is part of a campaign designed to show what models and celebrities look like without airbrushing and will be featured in their upcoming edition, it is rumored the photo was leaked.
“Huh. It’s refreshing to see someone who is known for perfection and beauty to also be comfortable with showing their flaws. I wish the industry was more honest in general. As people age their physical appearance will change. No reason to pretend the aging process is just for us not famous people,” Reddit user Lesseeshallwe posted.
The un-retouched photo of Crawford’s will appear in the April issue of Marie Claire.
“I really think—at any age—it’s about learning to be comfortable in your own skin,” Crawford told Marie Claire, “which is a lot easier said than done. ”
