Anime News Network’s merchandise coverage sponsored by Tokyo Otaku Mode.
Hobby collectible producer Max Factory first unveiled its life-size figure of To Love-Ru -Trouble- Darkness‘ Momo Belia Deviluke at the Tora no Ana 20th Anniversary Appreciation Fair last year. The figure depicts Momo in bridal lingerie like the cover of the To Love-Ru -Trouble- Darkness: Venus artbook.
The company announced that it will produce a total of 10 of these 160cm (5’2″) figures and release them in Fall 2017 for 2.5 million yen (US$22,733) each as part of the series’ 10th anniversary. The Tokyo Tora no Ana Akihabara C service counter is currently accepting orders until June 26. Applicants’ order forms will be entered into a lottery to win one of the 10 figures.
One Momo statue is on display at the “Anime To Love-Ru Genga Exhibition” at the Tokyo Anime Center in Akihabara until June 6. It will then move to Tora no Ana Akihabara B and stay on display there until June 26.
