However, our customers love anything lacy at the moment, including the bigger knicker shapes, whether it’s to match with a bra or to add femininity to their underwear wardrobe.”

The ‘Beckham Boost’ is also popular with women too, with tight briefs now a popular gift choice among ladies seeking to turn their partner into a homemade style icon.

Roz Fletcher, menswear buyer at The Original Factory Shop, said: “Male style has changed a lot in recent years.

“We rarely see exposed boxers from baggy jeans these days and instead men opt for trousers and jeans that conceal their underwear completely.

“Styles such as Y-Fronts can be one of the only options for the modern man.”

Lingerie model and mother-of-one Sarah Stage – whose six-pack-baring pregnancy selfies earned her endless internet buzz – stepped out in Santa Monica, California yesterday with her newborn son.

The 30-year-old mom brought little James Hunter along while she ran some errands in a pair of distressed, high-waisted denim shorts and a skin-tight red tank top.

The adorable five-month-old sat on his mom’s hip while wearing a green camo onesie and matching backwards baseball cap.

Sarah was snapped leaving a meeting of her ‘LA Mommies Club’, balancing her little one with ease despite walking on four-inch stiletto sandals.

With her was TV personality Diana Madison, who is seven months pregnant herself. Diana clearly got Sarah’s figure-flaunting memo, wearing a bump-hugging black dress and knee-high cut-out boots.

Both women smiled and admired James, who seemed a bit tired and bewildered by the photographers as he held onto his mom’s chest.

He also came along for an appointment that the brunette stunner had to get eyelash extensions at Flawless Laser Center, Inc. in Burbank.

‘Enjoy every moment of it, even when you’re not sleeping, because your baby won’t be a baby for long.,’ she said. ‘And take lots of pictures! Document everything so that when your baby is older, he can look back and see his baby pictures’
