Chelsea Handler keeps clothes ON and puts her lingerie on her head

She is no stranger to posting naked Instagram pictures of herself so you could be forgiven for thinking she doesn’t own any underwear. 

However, Chelsea Handler had an unusual way of displaying her bountiful lingerie collection, on Sunday – putting it on her head.

In a series of Instagram snaps, the 40-year-old comedian showed off her underwear – wearing it on the outside of her clothing.

The former Chelsea Lately host shared pictures of herself with pants over her head, as well as over her trousers, which appear to have been taken in the bathroom.

She captioned one shot: ‘This is why I’m always naked. I can’t ever figure out how to put clothes on’.

One another picture she wrote: ‘When life hands you lemons, and a you squeeze into your vodka,’ suggesting the snaps might have been captured after indulging in a drink or two.

A week ago the non-shy blonde shared a photo of her perky rear to the social media site, captioning it ‘butt art.’  

In the photo, the blonde talk show host is kneeling on a bed with her bottom in the air, pulling down her white pants and grinning as she exposes her black underwear. 

The former Chelsea Lately host has made a habit of posting bold and often naked pictures of herself to social media.

Last month, she shared a revealing photo of herself in just a sheer black bra, with nothing but an apple to cover herself.

The revealing bathroom selfie appeared to be taken in a hotel, and she captioned the image: ‘Look at my hair. Something must have happened while I slumbered.’

And on the Fourth of July, Handler showed off both her exhibitionist and daredevil side a topless waterskiing video, which she called a ‘booby bonanza’.

She took to Instagram to share the short Twitter clip which she captioned: ‘To celebrate Independence Day, I give you my piece de resistance.’

The forty-year-old wears just bikini bottoms as she flies across the lake, before toppling into the water with a big splash.

Chelsea has been travelling the world to shoot her new Netflix documentary series, which will cover more serious topics like drugs, Sillicon Valley, marriage and racism.

While filming in Israel in January, Handler shared a topless selfie while riding a camel, striking a dramatic pose and covering her nipples with Star of David pasties.

She has said previously that the naked photos are her way of protesting Instagram censorship and Hollywood vanity.

In February, she told Elle magazine the topless shots were a reaction to female nipples being banned on Instagram.

‘I just try to not overthink anything. Now I’m just in a war with Instagram trying to keep my topless photos on it,’ she said.

‘Because I don’t understand why nipples are nudity. Who cares? Men can show their nipples, but if we have breasts we can’t show them?

‘And so if you’re flat-chested are you allowed to show your nipples? Is that better? And can I show one nipple, but not two? I don’t even understand.’

She said the ban just encouraged her to push social media’s boundaries.

‘Once somebody tells me I can’t do something I have to figure out how to do it,’ she vowed.

In addition to her feature-length documentaries, Handler will launch a talk show for Netflix in 2016.

British singer Paloma Faith has been unveiled as the new face of luxury lingerie store Agent Provocateur – where she previously worked as a shop assistant.

The 34-year-old Only Love Can Hurt Like This hit maker worked part time at London’s Broadwick Street boutique when she was 21 and studying for an MA in theatre directing at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design.

Hackney-born Paloma said fronting the underwear giant’s autumn/winter 2015 Knickers Forever campaign felt ‘nostalgic’ and reminded her of her ‘carefree’ days.

‘I’ve never had a job – other than at AP – that has formed me as a person or influenced my whole life,’ she said. 

‘When I walk past the shop in Soho I feel really nostalgic about a time when I think I was quite carefree. I look back at it and just I think of youth.’

Peroxide blonde Paloma, who insists she ‘still wears Agent Provocateur underwear to this day’, was shot in the brand’s iconic staff uniform – a baby pink, button-up dress – by former colleague, photographer Alice Hawkins.

Esteemed snapper Alice – whose work is known for its off-kilter glamour – was inspired by her personal collection of cheeky Polaroids, which were taken during her days as a shop girl. 

Paloma can be seen playing the ultimate Agent Provocateur store manager in the playful images. She wreaks havoc in the fantasy store, playing dress-up in the back rooms and cleaning windows in her garters.

During the three years that Paloma worked in the shop, she regularly served Fran Cutler, who works in PR and is close friends with model Kate Moss.

‘After a few years of serving her, she asked me what I did outside of the store and I told her that I wrote songs and performed them in clubs and pubs,’ she told The Daily Telegraph.

‘She arranged that I meet with the head of Virgin Records who then introduced me to my manager. His first reaction was, “Your songs are terrible but you are such a brilliant character!” So I stuck in there and tried to learn.’ 

Paloma follows in the footsteps of Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in posing for the brand.

Agent Provocateur was founded in 1994 by Vivienne Westwood’s son Joe Corré and his now ex-wife Serena Rees. Their first shop was on Broadwick Street, Soho.

The company was acquired by a private equity firm For £60m in 2007 and now has a total of 104 stores worldwide.
