Hilaria Baldwin has a message for new moms: love your body, you earned it.

Two days after giving birth to her second child with actor Alec Baldwin, the yoga instructor posted an Instagram snapshot today showing off her uncovered belly. But this was no humble brag: Baldwin included an inspirational message about why women shouldn’t be so hard on themselves after giving birth.

“I hope you understand my intention here: I believe it is important to accept and love our form after going through a bit of a battle to bring life into this world,” she wrote. “Deep breath, here we go…”

Baldwin, 30, posed in lingerie for the selfie, which she wrote was taken in her hospital bathroom.

And yes, there’s still a bump. Fans praised Baldwin for being “brave” and “honest” with her message, since “you just don’t put your skinny jeans on from the hospital,” one commenter wrote.

Baldwin added that the newborn is “doing wonderfully” and is “such a sweet little boy.”

The Baldwins, who married in 2012, announced the birth of their son Rafael on Wednesday. They also have a daughter, Carmen.

The designer has completed her latest issue of Araks Lingerie Project, a photo book featuring her eponymous brand’s sumptuous, minimalist lingerie shot by several close friends and creative collaborators, including Jason Schwartzman, Maryam Nassirzadeh, Kate Foley, Leandra Medine, Sofía Sanchez de Betak, and Vanessa Traina Snow. The premise was simple: Each contributor was given a disposable camera and asked to fill the entire roll with photos of one set of lingerie or sleepwear. “It was so great, working with a disposable camera,” Traina Snow told us. “Not having the instant gratification of seeing your image right away, kind of forgetting what pictures you even took. Just having fun.” The disposable cameras captured a realness and intimacy that rarely translates across social media, giving the images a dreamy permanence.
