The latest face, (and bod!), of Calvin Klein stripped down for an edgy, black and white shoot, where she dished on how ‘ecstatic’ she is to see her denim campaign plastered on a billboard on the LA strip.

Kendall Jenner might be the model of the moment with a seriously sizzling career, but the teen admitted that breaking into the high-fashion world didn’t come easy for her. “You have no idea how many doors closed on me and how many adults were either initially reluctant to take a chance working with me or who outright laughed at me behind my back,” she told V magazine. “It was kind of hard because all I was doing was going on go-sees, trying my best to break into this business as a teenager.”

The 19-year-old showed off her edgy side for the mag, in a gorgeous spread which was captured by famed photog Steven Klein. Although the modeling world might not have rolled out the red carpet for Kendall, it is clear she is here to stay — and she was able to persevere, thanks to the support of her parents, Kris and Bruce Jenner.

“My parents taught me that work ethic is one of the most important keys in life, and I believe it,” she said.

While she’s walked the runway and starred in a slew of campaigns, nothing compares to landing a Calvin Klein campaign. “This will be my first billboard on Sunset, which I’m ecstatic about,” she said. “It’s really humbling, and honestly, I am a pretty shy person, but being part of the Calvin campaign and seeing myself up there will be a dream come true.”

Kendall is so excited she said she plans on visiting it as often as she can! “I might have to eat every night at the Chateau Marmont with that hanging over my shoulder,” she said. “‘Oh yeah, that little thing? I didn’t notice!’”
