“I’m no angel”

Last year, Victoria’s Secret was slammed for an ad campaign that touted one very specific body type as the “Perfect Body.”

The lingerie company quietly changed its ad after more than 30,000 people signed a petition asking the underwear brand to apologize for its “body shaming” message. And so, five months later, Lane Bryant — a retailer that sells clothing starting at size 14 — has released a similar shoot with its #ImNoAngel campaign, in what seems like a dig at the Victoria’s Secret angels campaign.

What have we been up to? Oh, not much, just redefining sexy. #ImNoAngel

‘The Royals’ Episode 4 recap: The royal family sets out to make a good impression

The royals are all about making a good impression this week. Liam has been sent out on a “Plane Tour,” which will bring the future King of England to the people and hopefully gain their support. Meanwhile, Princess Eleanor is visiting senior homes, puppy shelters, and cutting ribbons while high on Ecstasy. She actually seemed to really enjoy herself playing with the textures of an elderly woman’s hair and Jasper’s apparently smooth face. At least the people seem to like her.

Liam makes a wonderful first impression asking a woman if she had chosen a name yet for her unborn child. However, the woman had not chosen a potential name because she was not, in fact, pregnant. An entirely different level of smooth, Liam. Well played.

As usual, the Queen is trying to reconnect Liam and his ex, Gemma, posting pictures of them on Instagram and sending them to the press. When Ophelia (who is actually on a first date) sees the picture, she literally stopped dead in her tracks while walking though some creepy tunnel beneath the castle. What are the rules of jealousy when you’re dating but not really dating the future King? She decides a vengeful social media post of her cute date is the proper reaction. Again, well played.

Some viewers are still trying desperately to understand why the Queen is so intent on Liam choosing Gemma. The first time we met her she was in lingerie in his bedroom nearly begging him to take her back. The next time we saw her she was chugging rum and bragging about the diamond industry being her namesake. And, in her probably not her finest moment, we saw her crash her Range Rover into a telephone booth while attempting a last ditch effort to win the Prince’s affections.

Then, however, she did sort of surprise us when she gave Liam some decent advice: stop trying so hard and just be yourself. He is pretty adorable while consistently making mistakes. He takes this as permission to chug beers with the people of England in a local pub.

Ironically enough, while he’s in the bar getting drunk with the locals, Eleanor is visiting her late brother’s charity, a drug and rehab facility. Maybe the girl she encountered there will actually have an impact on her. Then again, it’s Eleanor.

Ultimately, Liam still has a thing for Ophelia and can’t help but feel affected by a video he sees of her almost kissing the hot commoner. His genius plan to win her back, you ask? Invite her to next week’s masquerade ball and let her bring her “boyfriend.” Too bad she had already chosen Liam…
