Lingerie company criticised over ‘Perfect Body’ ad campaign

The petition criticises the advertisement for its “narrow standard of beauty” and for perpetuating “low self esteem.”

The advertisement shows three women wearing Victoria’s Secret lingerie, but campaigners have said that the poster “fails to celebrate the amazing diversity of women’s bodies by choosing to call only one body type ‘perfect’”.

On Thursday, Marlo posted a photo of herself to Twitter sporting a sexy get up consisting of a black bra and panties with a sheer coverup. In the photo, Marlo has one foot in a black boot and the other barefoot and on tip-toes, giving her the illusion of a little added height.

“No matter what I try on I’m always in imaginary heels #diva,” she captioned the pic.

While Marlo won’t be back for the seventh season of RHoA, she’s still got plenty of big things in the works.

The former fan favorite revealed that she’s working on a reality show of her own, although some of her former castmates may not think she’s a great match for the industry.

When asked about why Marlo was never made a housewife, NeNe Leakes said that her arrest in 2002 was preventing her from furthering her career. “Her past has followed her,” said NeNe. “I just don’t think that they ever really liked her to that degree.”
