Teen lingerie party draws fire

(WBBH) A Facebook advertisement has been found promoting a lingerie party this Friday night at a Cape Coral, Florida club targeting girls as young as 16-years old.

The party’s promoter, which the club owner said took a harmless pajama party too far, targeted teens at two local Cape Coral high schools.

When asked about the legality of such a gathering, local police responded that there was some ambiguity as to what could be worn in public.

“That’s going to be a question of…on a case by case basis and what is being shown,” said Sergeant Dana Coston of the Cape Coral Police Department.

The lingerie party has since been cancelled, but Cape Coral police officers say that they plan to keep an eye on the area Friday night nonetheless.
