good weekend. Good night. So when Bieber came, she got
very, very angry. She saw it all, as did Leo
and Lindsay. We have every second-by-second detail. Of bloom versus
Bieber. And now comes the Kardashian diva invasion. Do you
get along with her well? Until recently. Did J. Lo
come between the former dancing partners? Plus, the baker behind
j.lo’s birthday cake controversy. And forget and and nick’s fantasy
hookup. I’ll teach you something real. Take your clothes off.
What the . An eyewitness to the bieber/bloom showdown comes
forward as the kardashians now hit the scene. Hi, everybody.
Welcome to “Access Hollywood.” We begin with the many questions
surrounding that near fistfight. Liz has all the latest. What
did Bieber say to Dicaprio that started the fight? Who
saw it. Our eyewitness has all the answers. Orlando was
just sitting there having dinner, quietly, with all his friends.
Dicaprio at the next table. When Bieber came, he said
something. Orlando got very, very angry. The Spanish model said
she sat at a nearby table where the incident went
down. She believes it was Bieber that provoked the incident.
She claims Bieber said something to Dicaprio about Orlando’s ex,
Miranda Kerr who Justin once flirted with that angered Orlando,
prompting the punch. Orlando got half a minute to think
about what he was going to do. He stand up,
started walking very fast, jumped the sofa. And punch him.
Then security came and tried to separate them. Then Bieber
and Orlando tried to fight each other. Bieber came. Bieber
provoked this fight, so they took him. The crowd cheered
after Orlando took aim while witness Lindsay lohan even giggled
at the action before approaching Justin. Lindsay lohan tried to
talk to him when he came around to the entrance.
He was like, I don’t want to. Not letting the
drama dampen his fun, Justin instragrammed this video of fans
cheering. Also posted this shot with a Victoria’s secret model.
But captioned it, don’t even start with dating rumors. And
let’s not forget the other players in ibiza right now.
Michelle Rodriguez, who was recently spotted with Justin, was just
joined by the new man in her life, zac Efron.
The two matches in black as she showed off her
toned tummy with a crop top. So just what is
it about ibiza? The island off the coast of Spain
has long been a popular destination for the rich and
famous, dating back to the ’50s when Elizabeth Taylor was
a regular. Amazing views,. It’s known for its wild night
life. The center of the clubbing scene in the summer,
the hottest deejays from around the world flock to this
party playground. Kim, do you — And look out, the
kardashians departed L.A.X. Yesterday bound for the birthday party of
a designer. Today they landed and were joined by Kanye
at the airport. It’s the place to be. Our cameras
will be all over the action this weekend. So let’s
just call Monday’s show “Access ibiza.” It looks so beautiful.
I think we need to set up an “Access Hollywood”
bureau. We need to be on location. Let’s turn now
to max and Kirstie Allie. The dance dance partner firing
chemistry on season 12. They were ratings gold for the
show. What a difference three years makes. Now it seems
Kirstie is feeling mad at max. Do you get along
with him well? Until recently. Oh, really. What happened? I
got a message that now that I am associating with
other people that she can’t be associated with, I am
no longer to be spoken with. Sorry, but that’s, you
know — it is what it is. How did you
get that message from her, by the way? Through a
friend. Wow. A Martian. Joan rivers fired away at scientology.
Last night she and max were Andy Cohen’s guest. That’s
where the star cautiously explained why his former partner is
mad at him. I thought we had a great relationship.
She gets to see this in person. They get to
see it more than I do. I was there as
their fiery dancing partnership exploded. Even before that, the two
had always been close. Max and I are much more
siblings. We really are. We’re very — what is the
word when you have a lot of emotion? Volatile. We’re
both very volatile. But he’s also really funny. But now
the divide and here’s why. Kirstie is a devout member
of the church of scientology, the same church Leah remini
broke away from. That put them at odds. She was
on the show recently. I fell in love with her.
I think she’s great. I thought it was brave what
she did. I love people. And recently we saw the
instagram video posting of Leah and max’s friend and once
rumored girlfriend J lo. The two women have become very
close friends, hence the bitterness towards max from Kirstie. We’ve
gone through so much together. I feel like I’ve helped
her. This is where we are now. I still think
the world of her and wish her all the best.
But max certainly hasn’t lost his sense of humor, though
he has lost his pants. In this hilarious photo he
posted, his former dance partner in what looks like a
suitcase. That’s a great photo. Not to mention great legs
on Maks. Now, moving on to the very leggy Julia
Roberts. Why she described appearance on “The tonight show” as
the comedy version of “50 shades of grey.” Julia Roberts!
Black shorts, platform shoes, and legs that go on forever.
But unfortunately for Julia, it isn’t her legs that are
the center of attention when jimmy challenges her to a
game of baseball. The game is simple. You and your
opponent sit down in your chair and throw your ball
in your opponent’s face. Ever the gentleman, jimmy let Julia
go first and she doesn’t hold back. Ready? The real
purpose here, capture the action on super slow Mo and
get a close-up look at jimmy’s flattened face. Then it’s
jimmy’s turn. This is like the comedy version of “50
shades of grey.” The replay clearly showing jimmy doesn’t go
easy with Julia’s beautiful nose, flattened against her face. Earlier,
Julia’s face also got some attention when jimmy shows her
a Reddit clip of a dog who isn’t wild about
Julia’s looks. But Julia takes her revenge. It’s all part
of the publicity game as Emmy night grows closer. Julia’s
HBO movie has 16 nominations, including a supporting actress nod
for Julia as a wheelchair bound doctor. The emmys air
August 25th on NBC. Meanwhile on “Kimmel,” new mom Kerry
Washington shows off her post baby body and does a
little bonding with new dad jimmy. I can’t believe you
have a baby and look like this. You’re such a
good friend. You should have a baby. Well, my wife
went and had this one. Your baby is Isabel. Mine
is Jane. We should swap them and see if our
families notice. The “Scandal” star who was last seen jetting
off for a destination unknown is up for a best
actress Emmy. As if there was any doubt, Kerry confirms
she’s back for season four. I got invited to the
table read, and I was very relieved. Very good news.
Leanne Rimes and Eddie Cibrian laughing their way through a
dating game show for people magazine promoting their reality show.
Do I have to answer this? You don’t even cook.
The pair tells “People” they hope the new show will
dispel the troubling rumors surrounding their three-year marriage. Heidi Klum
goes nude, well almost. Wearing a smile and barely there
lingerie. Bear the caption, I need something to wear for
tonight’s “Project runway.” And pregnant Christina Aguilera goes further bearing
her new baby bump and posing naked for “V” magazine.
We have a big announcement to make. Ka Cathy lee
gi Ford is getting in on today’s live musical action.
It will be 18 minutes long and will air sometime
before “Peter pan” airs in December and will star the
entire “Today” show cast and will guest star — Me?
Oh, really? Regis is going to be our guest star.
It’s going to be live and so much fun. Thank
you very much. Excuse me. Brody comes to Kendall’s defense
on the family’s Thailand getaway on this Sunday’s “Keeping up
with the kardashians.” You just Touch my sister? No. Are
you Kidding me, bro? I don’t know about that, Liz.
Seems like that guy would have popped Brody back. Seems
kind of calm for two big guys like that. Quite
possibly taking the real out of reality, right? Give it
up, everybody, for the bat kid. An inspiring first pitch
at giants home opener in April. And now our favorite
superhero bat kid is back. Miles Scott, his leukemia is
in remission. He has his own documentary. Funds are still
being raised to finish the film, but we have our
first look at this almost 6-year-old’s extraordinary experience in “Bat
kid begins.” He’s always liked all superheroes, but he always
comes back to Batman. Like a first love. One of
the doctors told us that with his disease, they become
like a fighter. They have to fight. So I think
he sees the good versus evil battle in superheroes, and
this relates to it. When we’re going about doing a
wish, it is whimsical in thinking about what would wow
that child and give them an experience that gives them
a little bit of their childhood back that’s been robbed.
So we decided to turn San Francisco into Gotham city.
The adventure has become an internet craze, and the tweets
are nonstop. What did we get ourselves into? I mean,
seriously, it was like brad Pitt just walked out. There
he is. They’re helping him to live this dream. We
wonder why we’re not happy a lot of the time.
It’s because we forget these sort of things. Here was
an event that forced us to remember. The illusion, the
art of tricking the brain, distorting the senses, challenging perception.
Magic in the making. “Access Hollywood” got a close look
at the trickery that takes place on the cw’s “Masters
of illusion.” Celebrity magician Murray gives us a look at
his famous disappearing act. And who better to help demonstrate
his magical mastery than Murray’s wife. Oh, oh, oh. This
is for you, jack. There it is, my friend. No,
no, no! It premieres tonight at 8:00. Straight ahead, exclusive
ladies is going to go home if we don’t make
a connection with someone. Those guys will know who I
am. That’s lacy, a contestant on the first ever “Bachelor
in paradise.” The show’s premise is a sexual musical chairs.
Each week, if you don’t find a partner, you’re out.
Needless to say, it should be debauchery at its wildest.
It’s hot. It’s humid. It’s sexy, sweaty. I mean, it
just begs to take your clothes off. The host sums
it up as well 25 sexy singles take to Mexico
for “Bachelor in paradise.” All are former “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette”
contestants looking for good time with fellow eye candy. I
wanted to kiss a really hot guy tonight, and I
did it. There’s definitely some hotties to look at. It’s
beautiful, but it’s secondary to the girls that show up.
They all have really nice bodies. They all come in
here tan. We were behind the beachy scenes in Mexico
where Chris busted out his best suit and talked about
the women’s headquarters, which has no air-conditioning, just the ocean
breeze. In these conditions, it’s no wonder the clothes come
off. The fourth runner up beard his abs for our
camera. “Bachelor in paradise” is really the bachelor and bachelorette
on steroids. Twist on the show, new singles arrive to
shake up the messiness. A letter from someone saying she
loves you? Are you in love with her? There will
be crazy confrontations. She has her legs around him. Oh,
my god. What the . There will be emotions high
and low. Seriously. And it’s already blown my mind what
has happened. Monday on “Access Hollywood,” will there be more
trouble in paradise? What will happen this weekend as the
kardashians descend on the summertime playground called ibiza. Last week
Jennifer Lopez celebrated her 45th birthday in the Hamptons with
her best friend and Khloe Kardashian among others. The real
star of the party was the cake. The six-foot long
creation got mixed reviews, but the cake artist is only
concerned with one opinion. J.lo’s. I found out the next
day that she literally thought it was a work of
artistry. The craftsmanship and most importantly she thought it was
delicious. That’s a huge honor for me in this business.
J. Lo liked it and so did her party guests.
But the pastry chef got a lot of flak on
social media for the birthday cake. It was the star
lounging on a lion. Publicity-wise, I had no idea. From
Kathy on Twitter, pretty tacky and doesn’t look like anyone.
Then he tweeted, not feeling this cake, kind of creepy,
why is she hugging a lion from behind. Everyone’s got
their own opinion, you know. The bottom line is everybody’s
criticism, it’s a piece of artwork. It was no small
task and no time to spare after out of the
blue call from Jen’s personal chef and party planner for
this cake just two days before the party. He’s like,
yeah, it’s for Jennifer Lopez. I’m like, oh, my god.
She wanted me to put Jennifer Lopez laying down on
this huge creature holding it. Just a sense of power.
Samantha quickly got busy and sketched, baked, and sculpted the
six-foot-long, 100-pound cake. It was lemon flavored. Samantha is known
for creating unique and artistic cake designs and is glad
people are talking about it. Everyone’s going to get critiqued
as an artist. Me, especially, give me the criticism. It’ll
make me better for the It is final 45 time.
After a week full of controversy, we have the giant
bachelorette bedroom shocker and the near fistfight between Orlando and
Bieber. We’re happy to end the week on a positive,
heartfelt note. Elton John and his husband traveled all the
way to Manila in the Philippines to work with the
hearing foundation, giving deaf children the ability to hear for
the very first time. Operation change will air Monday on
O.W.N. Bye, everybody. It’s quite extraordinary and an incredibly uplifting
experience. Enever you see someone being cared for and not
forgotten about, the human spirit comes alive. They’re so grateful.
His mother died at birth, so he’s blind and no
hearing. He just had an operation. No sight, no hearing,
and suddenly he’s at least being given the ability to
hear.

WHAT’S THE BIG HAIRY DEAL?

View full sizeThe Gotham City Beard Alliance and S.I. comedian Jen Remauro are joining forces with Staten Island Island Yankee fans Saturday, Aug. 2, to seize the Guinness Book of World Records title for “most fake mustaches worn in one place at one time.”
Yes, this is a real thing: June 13′s first attempt was rained out but rescheduled for Father’s Day. Alas, fans fell short of the 2,269 nose wigs needed to break the 2013 record set at a cycling event in Fairfield, Iowa.
“We definitely want to try this again,” says Steve Violetta, CEO of the team. “As someone who has proudly worn many styles of mustaches over the years —starting with a really bad one at about 14 years old — I join all Staten Island Yankee fans in saluting all ‘staches, real and those fake ones designed to break records.”
Here’s the deal: Everyone who enters the ballpark on game day — S.I. Yankees vs. Auburn Doubledays — will be given a fake mustache to put on at the top of the third inning. Stadium management and volunteers will document the event for submission to the Guinness Book board for review.
“We encourage every Staten Islander — be they man, woman or child — to grow their mustaches to the fullest,” says Simon Cleveland, president of the Gotham City Beard Alliance, the hair club that hosts NYC’s Annual Beard Mustache Competition, as well as participates in charitable fundraisers around the globe.
Oh, and on a related note, S.I.-based comedian Remauro publicly claims credit for the return of the fake mustache as a fashion trend.
“Ever since I was a little girl, I loved mustaches — my grandfather had one and so did my grandmother,” she says. “Disappointed that I wasn’t able to grow a ‘stache of my own, I began wearing fake mustaches on stage and at events. Before long the fake mustache became a fashion statement.”
Richmond County Bank Ballpark has a capacity of 7,171 and is located at 75 Richmond Terrace, St. George (that’s mere steps from the ferry for non-Islanders). Tickets are $9-$20.60 at the box office at tickets@siyanks.com. More info: Call 917-580-6378 or check out SIYanks.com.
SINGALONG TO THE CHANGE
The team behind ”Menopause: The Musical” has an invitation for Staten Island women: ”Come join our sisterhood!”

GFour Productions, winners of 54 Drama Desk and 44 Tony Awards, is bringing its international hit to the College of Staten Island’s Center for the Arts from Aug 2-Aug. 3.

Billed as a “hilarious celebration of women and The Change,” the 90-minute musical parody is set to classic pop tunes from the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s.
“Now celebrating 13 years of female empowerment through musical comedy, ‘Menopause The Musical’ has evolved as a “grassroots” movement of women who deal with life adjustments after 40 by embracing each other and the road ahead,” says Alyssa Holland, spokeswoman for GFour Productions.
Playwright/lyricist Jeanie Linders was “inspired by a hot flash and a bottle of wine” to create the show as a celebration of women who find themselves at any stage of “The Change.”
The plot: Set in a department store, four women meet by chance while shopping for a black lace bra at a lingerie sale. After noticing unmistakable similarities among one another, the all-female cast jokes about their woeful hot flashes, mood swings, wrinkles, weight gain and much more. These women form a sisterhood and unique bond with the entire audience as they rejoice in celebrating that menopause is no longer “The Silent Passage.”
The background: “MTM” is the longest-running scripted production in Las Vegas, where it’s still running nightly at Luxor Hotel Casino. The touring production has played in more than 450 U.S. cities, nearly 300 international cities and 15 countries.
More information: Center for the Arts is located on the CSI campus at 2800 Victory Blvd., Willowbrook. Check out MenopauseTheMusical.com for additional details.
EDM COLOR WARS: THE THIRD INSTALLMENT
Party people no longer have to book a flight to India to partake in “Color Wars” — and for you to leave the Island to enjoy EDM (electronic dance music), either.
Mattoos Entertainment presents “EDM Color Wars,” the 21-and-over outdoor event — the third in a series of colorful Mattoos parties — will feature multiple live DJs, glow sticks, a light show and more than 200 pounds of “Holi powder” from 5:30 p.m. to 3 a.m. Saturday at Dugout Pub South, 4029 Hylan Blvd., Great Kills.

Curious? Prepare to go Day-Glo, folks.
“The crazy powder-throwing experience uses the body as a canvas,” says Stefan Barone, brand extension manager for Mattoos. “(Color Wars) combines EDM, a growing phenomenon which was missing from Staten Island.”
A tradition in India, the events have been co-opted by event promoters looking to launch a new theme party geared around the EDM craze currently sweeping in the United States.
Barone’s advice for newbies: “Wear white! Of course, there will be people that don’t want to partake in the throwing experience, that is fine. There will be a specific area where this is held, although powder will likely make its way out and can stain, so if you can, wear something not too special.”

EDM festivals attract hundreds of thousands of devotees annually. NYC music fans have embraced the genre at the annual Electric Zoo and Electric Daisy Carnival events.
“For more than two years, Mattoos Entertainment has presented monthly EDM showcases, bringing Staten Islanders and the tri-state community access to its newest native DJs and EDM producers,” says Johnny Matland, founder of “Color Wars” for Mattoos. “The company takes Staten Island to the forefront of the EDM scene, breeding the best and most exciting artists of the genre.”
Advance tickets are $19.99 at EDMColorWars.com (promo code “AWE”) or $25-$30 at the door. For more information about the event, hit up the promoters on Facebook. Click HERE to watch a video from a previous EDM event. Warning: Turn down the sound if you are offended by strong language.
— As always, this blog is far from comprehensive, so please let me know what I’m missing. Share your own weekend event plans, suggestions, etc., in the comments section below. I’ll do my best to get some of them in my Saturday and Sunday installments.
