Durban – The first South African Bridal Fashion Week will take place in Durban from August 7 to 10 at Sibaya Casino.

The national event, which will also be showcased in Cape Town and Joburg, belongs to the same consortium as New York Bridal Fashion Week and India Bridal Fashion Week.

Key features include a choreographed combination of themed designer catwalk shows covering exclusive new collections by couture bridal designers (local and international), emerging and student designers, as well as boutiques for brides, grooms, bridesmaids, groomsmen, flowergirls, mother and father of the bride and groom, as well as for the guests. There will be bridal wear and evening wear for all the cultural groups in South Africa.

Related staged showcases include lingerie, hair, make-up, henna, jewellery, shoes, accessories (including handbags, veils and hair accessories), cakes, table centrepieces, décor (includes table decor), flowers, bouquets and a unique show that includes photographer’s and videographer’s work.

The concept of an exhibition on stage – cakes coming down the ramp and table décor such as candelabras being displayed by models – is all themed to leave the spectators in a magical world.

Between 10 and 15 shows will take place in each city, providing bridal couples and their entourage with plenty of opportunities for ideas, while there will also be great prizes to be won.

A ticket for any of the fashion shows will allow entry into the service-provider display area, which will include a luxurious display of industry offerings for your special day.

‘True Blood’ Recap: Ryan Kwanten Deals With A Bad Break-Up in ‘Karma …

Hepatitis V continues to spread in True Blood and the unforgiving virus shows no mercy to anyone, whether they happen to be human or vampire. Everyone gets what’s coming to them in the episode, ‘Karma.’

After the attack at the Republican fundraiser, Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) is still holding the yakuza’s mouth in his hand. All of a sudden, more gangsters arrive and Northman has to fight them all. Though he is strong, the infected vampire gets tired too quickly. The standoff ends when Pam (Kirsten Van Straten) gets captured.

Bill (Stephen Moyer) is in shock that he’s infected with Hepatitis V. When Compton calls his lawyer, Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) overhears his conversation. As their exchanges get pretty awkward, Bill lies and pretends to be fine.

Jason (Ryan Kwanten) knows he has cheated on Violet. When Stackhouse arrives home, he notices the floor is covered in rose petals. Violet shows up in black lingerie, seduces her boy toy, and goes down on him. The steamy sex doesn’t matter later when Jessica calls him.

While Bill waits in a room full of infected vampires, Mister Gus Jr (Will Yun Lee) shows up to confront the chained-up Eric and Pam. Gus wants revenge against Sarah Newlin for the death of his sister. In their deal, Eric delivers the deathblow and Gus can keep the dead body afterwards.

While Sarah (Anna Camp) hides out at her sister’s place, Jason discovers Sookie (Anna Paquin) still sleeping in her bed. As Jason brings Sookie to Jessica, Sheriff Andy (Chris Bauer) discovers his daughter Adilyn (Bailey Noble) having sex with his fiancee’s son.

After Jessica explains what she has overheard, Sookie realizes she may be infected too. She has to go to the hospital and get her blood tested. While the siblings talk about love and Violet, the call comes in and the results are bad news for everyone.

While in the waiting room, Bill realizes his infection has spread quickly than normal. During their discussion, Bill’s lawyer reveals that he cannot leave his property to Jessica. Filled with rage, Bill stabs her with a knife and murders her bodyguard.

Sarah tells her vampire sister that she is a changed person. The antidote for Hepatitis V is inside her bloodstream. To prove that she is the cure, Sarah lets her sister drink from her.

Bill arrives home to find Jessica and Sookie drenched in tears. Elsewhere, Jason discovers a breakup note in his home. Because their relationship is over, Violet can go after Adilyn and drink her faery blood.

Though Bill and Sookie are infected, is there still hope now that Sarah holds the cure? Readers, what did you think of ‘Karma?’
