‘Big Brother’ 2014 Housemates: This Year’s Contestants Enter The ‘BB’ House …

Both ‘Big Brother’ launch shows have now taken place and the housemates have all been (attempting to) get comfy in the place they’ll call home for at least the next month.

At the moment, everyone’s being overly nice and making special efforts to get along, but we don’t think it will stay like that for long.

Among them is Helen Wood, who hit headlines in 2011 when it was revealed she’d had a threesome with footballer Wayne Rooney, while working as a prostitute.

Helen is joined by a number of other interesting characters, including a Playboy model, self-confessed diva Mark Byron and the feisty Pauline Bennett, who will celebrate her 50th birthday in the house.

In the second launch show, the final six housemates entered the house, including model Ash Harrison and self-confessed big mouth Jale Karatup.

This year’s ‘Big Brother’ has a ‘Power Trip’ theme and producers have promised that there will be plenty of shock twists, the first of which has already taken place.

  Age: 49

  Pauline, who will celebrate her 50th birthday in the house, once worked in music and helped Kylie Minogue make it into the Top 10 in the ’90s.

• Winston Showan

  Age: 27

  From: Essex

  Winston’s hoping to find a girlfriend in the ‘Big Brother’ house and is certain he’ll be “the best housemate ever”.

• Mark Byron

  Age: 24
  From: Liverpool

  Mark prides himself on his appearance and gets his hair professionally styled four times a week – how on earth will he cope in the BB house?

• Matthew Davies

  Age: 23
  From: Hertfordshire

  Media graduate Matthew has said he’s looking forward to tasks where he can “prove I am more intelligent than everyone else”.

• Steven Goode

  Age: 23
  From: Hertfordshire

  Steven claims his worst trait is that he can be controlling, so it will be interesting to see how he reacts to the ‘Power Trip’ theme.

  Age: 27
  From: Bolton

  Helen hit headlines three years ago when she it was revealed she’d had a threesome with Wayne Rooney – who was married at the time – while working as a prostitute.

• Tamara Stewart-Wood

  Age: 24
  From: London

  Tamara reckons she’s never been kind to anyone, stating: “I’m known as Cruella… or a heartless b**ch”.

• Kimberly Kisselovich

  Age: 23
  From: Calfornia

  Kimberly is a Playboy model with a law degree, who doesn’t think she’ll get on with people from Essex.

• Danielle McMahon

  Age: 25
  From: Glasgow

  Danielle is a Catholic lingerie model who states that her idols are God and her mum. She believes in ‘traditional’ gender roles and thinks ’50s housewives are “good role models”.

• Ashleigh Coyle

  Age: 18
  From: Derry

  Ashleigh is the youngest of this year’s housemates. She has a dog called Gucci and reckons she’d donate some the winnings to charity if she triumphs in the competition.

• Ash Harrison

  Age: 26
  From: Manchester

  Ash’s ‘ultimate idol’ is David Beckham and he claims he is a “younger better looking version of him”.

• Jale Karatup

  Age: 33
  From: Surrey

  Jale loves to rant and has said she won’t be able to keep her mouth shut on the show.

• Toya Washington

  Age: 29
  From: London

  Housemates won’t want to get on the wrong side of Toya, who once sold a boyfriend’s belongings online when he treated her badly.

• Chris Wright

  Age: 33
  From: Hampshire

  Actor Chris has said he isn’t going on the show to further his career and insists he isn’t looking for love on the show.

• Marlon Wallen

  Age: 22
  From: Croydon

  Self-confessed “wild boy” Marlon is hoping to meet (at least one) special lady in the house and is confident he could rub belly buttons with someone without all the other housemates finding out.

Danielle McMahon: Big Brother 2014 profile – meet the old fashioned Catholic …

Big Brother contestant Danielle McMahon is a religious lingerie model.

The 25-year-old Catholic lives strictly by her faith, believes that so much so that she doesn’t agree with gay marriage but claims that she isn’t homophobic which should go down well with the most famous house in the land.

She’s not just a pretty face and says she’s very business minded and aspires to have her own successful business.

She is currently trying to set up a business making a ‘new type of Wonderbra’ and is trying to secure an investmentand says that she: “Knows what I want and I know how to get it’.

But you won’t be finding Danielle wearing the trousers in her relationship as she’s very old fashioned in her views and believes ‘things were better years ago’.

She believes in traditional gender roles and feels the 1950s housewife was a better role model and her own idols are no less lofty being God and her mum.

The last argument Danielle had was a few weeks ago with a guy in a club. He got annoyed because he had bought Danielle and her friend drinks and expected them to talk to him.

Danielle had a go at him, ‘he thought that just buying us a drink meant we had to be all over him’.

 

She tends to go on a night out at least once a fortnight and her usual night out would begin with  her friends coming over to her place, drinking vintage champagne and then going to a club until the early hours.

One thing you won’t see Danielle do is munch a kebab in an after-party because she thinks they can be sleazy.

Her friends would describe her as ‘confident, savvy, intelligent, determined and sensible’ but she says she is never reckless and will ‘never wholeheartedly let my hair down’.

Danielle is currently single and has only had two long term relationships, both with Catholic boys and is always upfront about her ‘no sex before marriage’ rule.

In the house, she would get on best with ‘well mannered, cultured, mature people’. She likes to keep her cards close to her chest and thinks she may clash with ‘liberal girls’ who tell lots of vulgar stories.

After Big Brother, Danielle wants to be a role model for women and young girls and help them to aim higher.

She is disgusted at the trends at the moment for revealing clothes and doesn’t think you need to dress like that to be successful. She wants to show people how to have ‘class, flair and charisma’.
