Red Carpet Rundown: Lea Michele, Other Young Celebs Model Crop Tops At …

Whoever you are, this red carpet is about to make you feel really old. But if youth culture is the bellwether of fashion, looking at the 2014 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards red carpet tells us that some trends are definitely going to be sticking around for a while. Crop tops are going nowhere. We lost track of all the belly slivers, cut-outs, peplums, and metallic, pointy-toed shoes on this red carpet. They may go away eventually, but it won’t be happening this year.

The children are our future. Let’s check out what they’re wearing:

Lea Michele looks like Judy Jetson in lingerie.

Kaley Cuoco Sweeting looked cute in her little shorts suit.

But then they sprayed green slime all over it.

Acacia Brinley is ready for the club from the waist up. From the waist down: Fancy prom. She’s good for anything.

Lia Marie Johnson wore cutouts and pointy metallic shoes. We love the shape of her cutouts, and the color of this dress.

Willow Shields brought her crop top and pointy pewter shoes.

Jaylen Barron paired her crop top with a sarong-style skirt. There’s a lot going on here, and the varying hem shapes are competing for attention. 

Laura Marano has a cute shiny purse, and we like her orange-red manicure.

Temara Melek is actually making this work. Love the shoes.

Coco Jones looks seasonally appropriate, and she matches the set so well she looks like she was designed with the backdrop in mind.

Gigi Hadid is officially that cool girl in high school who DNGAF about clothes and still looked better than anybody.

Bella Thorne picked a great color, even though she’s wearing gold shoes. Her stylists tend to send her out looking over-styled like a prom queen, which is a shame because when she shows up with undone hair and minimal makeup, she’s always one of the most gorgeous people around.

Zoey Deutch is unimpeachable in this cool printed short set. She totally sits at Gigi Hadid’s lunch table. 

Jayma Mays is trying to distract us from those gold shoes by wearing 8 prints at once. It’s not working.

Dita Von Teese Shows Off Her Curves At Louis Vuitton Party In LA

Dita Von Teese is all about the wow factor. She loves to rock a bit of vintage and she rocks it well! But when she pitched up at a Louis Vuitton party in LA, she was all about the curves and flaunting them to the max!

The model was working it in a revealing purple gown at MOCA’s 35th Anniversary Gala Presented by Louis Vuitton at The Geffen Contemporary in Los Angeles.

She opted for a full length lilac gown which featured two strips of gathered sheer fabric covering her chest, leaving her slim waist on show and not much else to the imagination.

The 1920s hair style – jet black with tight retro curls – combined with her porcelain skin makes for a flawless look. Pair that with that beauty spot and her signature killer red lipstick and we have one smouldering style on our hands!

Her beauty game was complete with long black lashes and liquid eyeliner and a little bit of blush.

The burlesque performer and lingerie designer completed her look with a floral clutch handbag and some show-stopping injuries.

Dita knows a good thing when she sees one, and has always stuck to a signature sultry style. And can you blame her?

She partied with the likes of ‘Happy’ singer Pharrell Williams, Chloe Sevigny and Katy Perry, who all attended the event.

And just like any other girl, Dita couldn’t help but share a snap from the evening on Instagram of her posing with one of her style icons, Joy Venturine Bianchi. The pic appears to have been taken in the girls toilets, well a night wouldn’t be complete with a toilet selfie would it?
