Vera Wang once said that a woman is never sexier than when she is comfortable in her clothes. No one can deny that women ooze sex appeal when we’re all dressed up and looking good, but true feminine beauty and uniqueness really does comes from within.

It is only when we’re comfortable in our own skin that we exude the self-confidence that makes us quite irresistible. When we’re relaxed and comfortable, we shine the brightest.

There’s no denying that our society’s idea of what makes a woman sexy is a very general one: a woman, long hair flowing over her bare shoulders, wearing lacy lingerie and killer heels.  But the question is: does such an image truly resonate with you?

Just as we do in other areas of our lives, shouldn’t we strive to find the type of underwear that makes us comfortable and therefore, sexy? Or, is the skimpiest lacy thing really what makes us feel sexiest?

A recent study conducted by Dr Christiana Tsaousi at the University of Leicester suggests that women have long since moved on from that thought. When it comes to lingerie, women will choose comfort over appearance every day of the week.

Tsaousi’s research shows that in reality, women’s choice in lingerie is widely varying and based particularly on practical fit and feel, rather than on how much lace is featured.  Feeling both feminine and empowered is all about choosing your own version of bra and panty that embrace and enhance your curves.

Shaving your legs, styling your hair, putting on some makeup and wearing a set of gorgeous Ruby Lingerie or a lovely Besamé lingerie set is a great way to feel both sexy and comfortable.

It is also important to remind yourself that you are a beautiful and desirable woman that men admire and would rather like to undress.

Focus on what makes you comfortable – blast all those images of sexy women lying sprawled over bedspreads and fix your gaze on your own beautiful curves! Pick items that accentuate your best features.

Remember that your man isn’t there to pick you apart, he appreciates the whole package. Give him a little eye candy by flaunting yourself in a little something that truly makes you feel sexy and confident.

She was recently photographed for a racy lingerie shoot to promote a line of bras and briefs she designed.

But Annalise Braakensiek was sporting a much more casual look in Sydney on Tuesday, dressed in head-to-toe grey as she stepped out for lunch at North Bondi Fish.

The 41-year-old model went make up free and wore a grey beanie and singlet, which she teamed with denim shorts, knee-high dark grey socks and black ankle boots.

The Australian recently showed how she keeps in such great shape when she went paddle-boarding in Sydney dressed in a black strapless bikini top paired cheeky white bottoms.

She also flaunted her toned figure in the ad campaign for her Big W underwear collection last month.

Annalise for Big W is available for women who are a size 10 to 16 and carry a DD to G cup.

Love her outfit but she would of looked better with makeup on or a pair of sunglasses, A bit plain Jane without the makeup in my opinion.
