Jennette McCurdy lingerie photos trending; Ariana Grande costars on Nickelodeon

Jennette McCurdy’s lingerie pictures might end up killing the show that millions of young kids watch on cable if damage control isn’t done immediately. The shocking photos offer the Nickelodeon star, who works with Ariana Grande, a big publicity nightmare and has fans looking at the Nickelodeon show “Sam Cat” a completely different way. According to Gossip Cop on Monday, the star has placed the blame of the pictures being released on her former boyfriend, Andre Drummond. However, the accusation has been denied by Drummond.

What can’t be denied is how ridiculous it is for a young star to take such racy selfies without realizing that social media at one point would be seeing the photos. It’s not every day such an easy swipe at a popular celebrity could be taken. Having images like this available to others is nothing short of foolish to share and McCrudy only has herself to blame for the release.

If there was any lesson to be learned about “Hannah Montana” it was how Miley Cyrus made sure her Disney show was finished by showing off a little skin. Jennette McCurdy is far less revealing with her bra and panties, but the pictures aren’t what people want their kids, tweens and teens to see on a kid friendly network. Add that Ariana Grande has a squeaky clean image and this fallout might hurt her too.

Jennette posted a response to fans on Twitter from her official account:

“To anyone disappointed: I sent those pics to 1 person. You can connect the dots. Shocked someone would stoop so low. I just speak w/ candor.”

Instead of complaining about the pictures, Jennette McCurdy needs to apologize for the lingerie photos and move on. Pointing fingers only will tarnish the show further and reveal her lack of responsibility for taking the pictures in the first place. It is harsh, but the star needs to manage this nightmare before it ends her career.

As for the person who released the pictures, they might be hiding from Hollywood, but Satan definitely has a new best friend. We hope they spend countless hours together after this rotten attempt to ruin a star.

Ex Lejaby French lingerie workers look set to shut shop

The co operative, in Villeurbanne near Lyon, was set up after more than half the staff of the upmarket Lejaby lingerie workshop were made redundant just over a year ago.

The layoffs attracted considerable publicity, as one of France’s best-known lingerie brands which relies on a highly skilled workforce of mostly women, became the latest victim of the economic downturn.

Micheline Rodriguez, who has worked for some of the most famous lingerie brands and trained seamstresses at the new co operative workshop, known as the “Atelières”, is disappointed.

“What a waste, we really believed in it, we had hope and we were duped because we were not supported.”

Yesterday Muriel Pernin, the boss of the workshop announced the liquidation of the company with its 30 workers, including five who had come from Lejaby.

“I don’t want us to battle on alone anymore, like a sort of symbol of French courage”, said Muriel Pernin “Does the state want the lingerie business to survive in France?” she asked angrily.

The co operative already has orders for up to 15,000 items but the bank has refused its request for a 600,000 financing package.

Ironically, Lejaby itself is no longer losing money and recently took on 13 new employees to “perpetuate the savoir-faire” in the highly specialised lingerie business.
