Lingerie Fashion Week Shows The Cheeky Side Of Underwear On The Runway

Lingerie Fashion Week kicked off in NYC and there was lots of skin, lace and big hair. As part of the 3 day event, Naked Princess showed their luxurious collection on the runway.

From racy intimates, to slouchy loungewear, the intimate apparel brand brought sexy back to the runway. Models, barefoot stomped the runway, with big bedroom hair. From silk to lace it was the type of collection that every woman would want in their closet.

Backstage we got to speak to the brand’s representative about the challenges of taking lingerie out of the bedroom and on to the runway.

Gwen Stefani Launches LAMB x Hanky Panky Lingerie Line

Superstar Gwen Stefani was one of the first singers to branch out into fashion design and do it right, so it’s no surprise that Stefani is extending her successful L.A.M.B. offering into lingerie.

According to Women’s Wear Daily, starting in July, in collaboration with Hanky Panky, Stefani will debut four groups of designs based on the lingerie brand’s best-selling styles. Look for Geo, a pink-based geometric tribal print; Lambie Camo, a neon-camouflage print; Old School, a typographic print with the words, “Love, Angel, Music, Baby”; and, naturally, Rasta Jersey Rob, a black-grounded group with gold hardware.

Prices will range from $23 to $86, and the product will be sold at speciality stores and hankypanky.com.
