Katie Holmes spent $15,000 on lingerie following her split from Tom Cruise.

The former “Dawson’s Creek” actress – whose divorce from the actor was finalized earlier this week – reportedly went on a lavish spending spree to cheer herself up following the breakdown of her five-year marriage.

A source told National Enquirer magazine: ”Katie treated herself to a lavish post-split pick me up shopping spree. She splurged on nearly $15,000 worth of sexy lingerie and undergarments alone.

”She also bought 15 pairs of pricey Christian Louboutin shoes and went on a tear at Barneys New York department store, buying a closet’s worth of clingy cocktail dresses and power suits to wear to auditions and meetings.”

Katie – who has a six-year-old daughter, Suri, with Tom – is also said to have been consulting with various ”life coaches” to get a new direction to go with her new look.

The source added: ”She wants to show the world who she really is – a beautiful, confident and talented woman balancing single motherhood and a thriving career.

”Now she’s ready to roar, she’s interviewing life coaches to help deprogram all the crap Tom filled her head with.

”Katie is willing to shell out whatever it takes to reclaim her fabulous looks and personality and relaunch her career.”

Stephanie Manou knew that when she carried the football into the endzone, the B.C. Angels were here to stay.

The Angels crushed the Regina Rage 41-18 during the season opener of the Lingerie Football League in Abbotsford Saturday.

The running back said after all the controversy and criticism surrounding the league, it was all worth it to see a few thousand people cheering them on.

“We have had more good than bad and (Saturday) night just proved that we had so many fans and so many people who wanted to give our team and this league a chance, to see what we had to offer,” Manou said Sunday. “To hear the cheers from the crowd is just fantastic.”

Scoring the first touchdown in the first LFL Canada game was a moment Manou said she will never forget.

“I also got to be the first player to walk out for the team and swing the Canadian flag and I had goosebumps the entire time,” the Vancouver resident added.

During the meet and greet, Manou said people told them how blown away they were about the level of play and athleticism the team displayed.

“Nobody believed that we could hit so hard and we had girls flying,” she said.

The B.C. Angels will face off against the Saskatoon Sirens Saturday, while the next home game will be on Sept. 29 versus the Toronto Triumph.

“Don’t judge until you come to see a game,” Manou said. “You really will be blown away. The atmosphere alone is worth coming out to see.”

B.C. Angels Darnelle Bernemann celebrates her teams win over the Regina Rage during the season opener of the lingerie football league in Abbotsford, B.C. Saturday, August 25, 2012.
