Christmas came early for Londoners on Tuesday as four models catwalked around the London Eye showcasing a selection of glamorous Christmas lingerie.
While others wrapped up against the cold, the four brave beauties made the very most of the bright sunshine by stepping out in red, black and grey leopard print bras and french knickers.
They were promoting George at Asda’s latest lingerie range – released just in time for last-minute Christmas shoppers.

The models raised some eyebrows on London’s Southbank as they posed infront of the London Eye – giving passers by a view of what’s available in store.
The aim was not only to provide men with some Christmas present inspiration, but also to give some light relief and Christmas cheer to people taking a break during a busy working day.
Fiona Lambert brand director for George said: ‘We thought London was the perfect backdrop to showcase the Christmas range and to provide a helping hand to all those busy people who are either stuck for Christmas present and stocking filler ideas this year or too busy to put a lot of thought into a present for their loved ones.

‘Our lingerie range includes everyday essentials for women as well as more glamorous gift sets to make ladies across the nation feel special this festive season.
‘We hope the city enjoyed the view!’
Asda’s past lingerie campaigns have included a collaboration with Ultimo boss Michelle Mone.

Festive favourites: There were telltale signs that the girls were wearing nude tights, but who could blame them?
Her bra, named ‘The One’ was modelled by Kara Tointon just weeks after she lifted the Strictly Come Dancing Trophy last December.
This time last year, George’s pre-Christmas efforts were focused on the launch of a Bodysculpt vest for men, that would keep their bulging Christmas bellies firmly under wraps.
George Lingerie is available nationwide in Asda stores and Asda Living stores as well as George’s website. Prices start at £2.50 and sizes range from 34A to 40F.

It’s always women, Allie, because the male physique is physically repellant. Hope this helps.

If women want equality why can’t we men have topless female dancers on prime time TV family shows?
Why are a male nipples okay but female nipples adult only?
If it was the other way around feminists would have forced a change long ago.
If they were male models in their underwear they would be topless.

@Anna, London. “many men can’t handle seeing those supposedly “repulsive” fit and hot male forms”. Not at all, Anna. You will note two contrasting responses. Women respond generally with “she’s too skinny/fat/tall/short/for e ign/English…”. This reaction is exemplified among sufferers of Che r yl Co le De r a n g e m ent Sy n d r o me (CCDS). Men, on the other hand, don’t bother to comment nine times out of ten. The only time I ever inte r v e ne in an article about “hot guys” is when the blatant hy p o c r i sy of women who post stuff like (and I quote) “I’ve just pe ed my pants”, whilst at the same time lambasting men for enjoying looking at pictures of pretty girls, gets too much. When that catches in my cra w, I really can’t stop myself from ans wering. Other than that – you wanna check out hot guys? Be my guest. Just ST FU when *we* do the same in reverse, eh?

Women don’t hide the fact that they are attracted to things other than physiques – how else do you explain the (usually rich) older man with the much younger, attractive wife ? – Matt Munro, Bristol, UK
You answered it Matt!
Women who go for a rich older man are attracted to the money, not the man. I was referring to genuine physical attraction. I obviously know that men and women look for different things in a partner. Women don’t seem to like men with big breasts ![]()
I’m not sure about what you are trying to deny: That women can find a well-proportioned masculine body attractive? I know that it would make lots of men feel better about themselves if it were true that women disregarded a man’s physique totally but that’s simply not true. Both sexes like a partner who is confidant, has a sense of humour, and can hold an interesting conversation. That does not mean that they are not attracted to the other sex’s physique. Perhaps some ladies would like to confirm that?

Grinch Christmas: Lingerie is a perilous gift

About to buy lingerie for that special lady in your life? You may be making a terrible mistake.
The holiday season is second only to Valentine’s Day in the level of pressure it puts on straight men to dazzle their partners with the perfect gift. Anything less, they’re meant to believe, means they’re inconsiderate and unromantic.
A lacy, silky something-or-other, therefore, sounds like the ideal gift. In reality, it can be a recipe for embarrassment, hurt feelings and awkward trips back to the store.
Women trek in after Christmas to return unwanted gifts “all the time,” says Nikki Muir, the head of the clothing department of adult store Seduction, on Yonge St. near Wellesley St. “It’s either the wrong size or it’s just not quite right.”
Men often step into adult stores and lingerie shops without much more than a vague idea of what size their girlfriend or wife may be.
“Men always tend to say, ‘She’s about your size,’” says Muir, who attempts to guide male partners through Seduction’s cavernous upper floor of hot pink thongs, black garters and blue vinyl lady cop uniforms. But well-meaning men typically underestimate their partners’ true sizes.
“Most of the items here, they tend to fit quite small,” explains Muir, saying she often helps women exchange clothing for a larger size — or something completely different.
“What comes to mind is when men get her a 32b (bra) and she’s so far from that,” says Anita Owen, co-owner of Tryst lingerie boutique. “He looks in her drawer and sees different sizes, and he goes with one.”
It has driven many lingerie boutiques to adopt special return policies for holiday gifts.
“For the full year when it’s not Valentines Day or Christmas, we don’t accept any returns on anything below the waist,” says Jennifer Klein, owner of Bloor West boutique Secrets From Your Sister. They make an exception on holidays, however — for good reason.
“Some of our underwear is over $100,” she says. “You don’t want to have it not fit.”
Klein emphasizes to gift-buyers, however, that women must try panties on over other clothing in order for them to accept exchanges.
“Every year there are certain incidents that happen where you think, I had no idea someone would even try that,” she says. “To the point where (they say), “I’ve worn this for six months or more and you should be taking it back.’”
And about those, er, special items a man might purchase for his lady, perhaps after reading a copy of Maxim? Many close-fitting erotic outfits, Klein says, are final sale, for obvious health reasons.
“Certain things you can’t return,” she explains. “More racy thongs, extremely expensive erotic wear made of elastic bands, or mesh. . . . Or, our silk panties slit through the middle.”
Too bad for the gentleman who might have the wrong idea about what apparel turns his partner on.
Both Tryst and Secrets From Your Sister have adopted one solution: the wish list. Women leave a list of undies they desire at their favourite store, and their partners can choose the one they like best, secure in the knowledge that hey, it will actually fit.
Klein doesn’t discourage men from braving the lingerie store, however. In fact, she feels women who receive that size extra-small thong should look past her teeny, unsuitable gift at the thought that spurred it on.
“It’s a wonderful step for someone to buy an intimate gift for another person,” she says. “I think it’s important for women to stop and look at the gift and say someone got them some lingerie for a reason. They may be saying, “I love you no matter what and want to have some fun with you.’” Women might think to themselves, “‘No, this isn’t something that is my style, no I’m not into leather or patent leather, but my partner wants us to have some fun and maybe I’ll indulge him for a bit.”
