Pregnant Lingerie Model With Barely-There Baby Bump Shuts Down Critics

After becoming an Internet sensation over her barely-there baby bump at eight-and-a-half months pregnant, lingerie model Sarah Stage is finally speaking out over the disbelief and negative attention she’s received since her pictures went viral.

“I’m just trying to stay positive. It’s hard enough to be pregnant,” she told ET, adding that she’s only gained around 20 pounds. “I think all women are beautiful, especially pregnant women.”

The 30-year-old, who admitted she’ll have a burger every now and then, revealed she still has a trainer, “but I was working out a lot harder before the pregnancy.”

And for those speculating on whether Stage’s tiny frame is dangerous this late in the game — one commenter wrote, “Is this healthy? I’ve never seen a pregnant woman this small at nine months before!” — she assures fans that she’s been consulting with professionals the whole way through.

“The doctor said my baby is healthy,” she tells ET. “All my girlfriends that are pregnant now, their bellies are a lot bigger, so I asked him and he started laughing. He was like, ‘You’re fine.’”
