Britney Spears would ‘love’ for Kate Middleton to wear her new lingerie line

LONDON, Sept. 26 (UPI) – Pop star turned lingerie designer Britney Spears said she would “love to see” Kate Middleton in the garments from her new lingerie collection, Intimate Britney Spears.

The 32-year-old singer unveiled the lingerie and sleepwear collection Tuesday at the Cafe Royal Hotel in London and opened up to the Daily Mail about her plans to send a few pieces to the duchess of Cambridge.

“I would love to see Kate in my underwear designs. That would be splendid,” she said. “I’m going to send her one of every piece. So she’ll have plenty to choose from.”

Spears is currently traveling through Europe during the promotional tour for her lingerie line. The “Work B**ch” singer made headlines Thursday after showing up to an event in Germany with a short bob in lieu of her signature long waves.

The singer unveiled her intimates collection in July, claiming her “vision for The Intimate Britney Spears is to create pieces that are sexy, luxurious and comfortable at the same time.” The lingerie and sleepwear collection is currently for sale online and ships almost everywhere worldwide.

Middleton might have to wait a while until she can wear Spears’ gift as she’s currently pregnant with her second child.

Britney Spears is busy, busy, busy! The singer jetted to London to promote her new lingerie line — and she also spilled some details on her upcoming album!

First things first: Yahoo! News reports that the singer describes the Intimate Britney Spears lingerie and sleepwear collection as ”romantic, feminine and subtle.”

“It’s been a really long process, but it’s been a lot of fun,” she allegedly added.

As for fellow celebrities wearing the pieces, Britney reportedly admitted she’d love if Kate Middleton became a fan!

“I would love to see Kate in my underwear designs,” she told reporters during the line’s presentation (quotes via the Mirror). “That would be splendid. I’m going to send her one of every piece. So she’ll have plenty to choose from.”

Britney also hinted that she hopes Gwen Stefani becomes a fan, saying, “I’d love to see Gwen Stefani modeling my collection. I think she’s very cool and sexy.”

As smitten as we are with Brit’s lingerie venture, we can’t help but anticipate her upcoming album! While there’s no confirmed release date yet (womp), Yahoo! reports that Britney promised the project will feature lots of ”I hate men and I love men” songs.
