Contraband Arrest: Lingerie Among Items Seized

A Hinds County man is in jail after trying to smuggle contraband, including lingerie, into the Raymond Detention Center, authorities said.

Jacob Funchess, 23, was arrested Sunday night around 9:30 p.m. A K9 unit located him in the woods nearby the detention center, Hinds County Sheriff Tyrone Lewis said.

Authorities report the contraband included tobacco, drugs, cell phones, and a pair of size 7 women’s panties.

Funchess is charged with introducing contraband into a correctional facility and possession of marijuana, Sheriff Lewis said.

Dita Von Teese Launches New Bloomingdale’s Lingerie Line

Dita Von Teese has teamed up with Bloomingdale’s to release her lingerie line in America for the first time.

Dita Von Teese’s new lingerie line includes outfits based on ones made up from her expansive wardrobe. Teese’s new line is designed to be seductive yet comfortable. The new lingerie line has pieces that are more retro looking, including some with fishnets and lots of lace, reports InStyle.

“I worked in a lingerie store from when I was 15 to when I was 24,” Dita Von Teese told The New York Daily News. “I felt like I learned about the power of lingerie in so many different ways and not even as a tool of seduction; that came later, and it’s still secondary to me. It’s how it makes me feel.”

Dita Von Teese’s lingerie line is available at select Bloomingdale’s locations and it also available on the retailer’s website. The lingerie collection ranges from $28 to $300, InStyle notes.
