Lounge lover: Dita Von Teese models her Von Follies lace and fishnet bra (£32) and briefs (£18)

True to the performer’s signature style, the collection encapsulates an iconic vintage feel with corsets, elaborate bustiers, ornate balcony bras, fitted chemises, high-waisted briefs and garter belts.

Debenhams bigwigs have predicted the line will be a Christmas bestseller, with women all over the country putting it on their list for Father Christmas.

Dita Von Teese, who used to be married to singer Marilyn Manson, said: ‘I am thrilled to
be able to launch this signature collection at Debenhams and make these
exquisite, vintage-inspired designs available to women throughout the
UK.

‘I wanted to create pieces that enhance the feminine silhouette and make each woman who wears my range feel sexy and glamorous. Each piece is homage to femininity and a reflection of my love of vintage glamour.’

The collection combines opulent colours of red, black and nude with luxurious fabrics including satin with lace overlay.

Distinct touches such as grosgrain and velvet ribbons, delicate eyelash lace, and control mesh give the essence of the sultry 1950’s glamour girl.

Debenhams’ Director or Lingerie Buying and Design Sharon Webb: ‘We’re very excited to welcome Dita’s range to Debenhams and further secure our position as the destination for fashionable lingerie.

‘This beautiful collection is set to delight UK women with its flattering, vintage inspired designs.’

Von Follies bra sizes range from an A-cup to E-cup, and briefs up to size 20.

Von Teese said: ‘It’s important to me that this collection is accessible to all women. I have designed these beautiful pieces to flatter women of all shapes and sizes.’

Von Follies is available at Debenhams from today. Prices range from £16 for briefs and £30 for bras.

We’ve had these in Aus for some time and they’re rather cheap quality and overpriced. I bought a pair of briefs which literally tore apart after one wash. The bra sizes are quite limited as well – only plus size cups available are on sizes 14+ and small cup sizes available up to size 12. Wait til they’re on sale if you’re going to waste your money.

It’s really refreshing to see glamorous and classy underwear shots showing a model with alabaster skin and vintage style hair and makeup, instead of glow-in-the-dark orange fake tans, extensions and faces full of botox and filler.

@ Jojo, please don’t try and talk for everyone. Just because boy shorts don’t flatter you, doesn’t mean the same goes for everyone else. We all have different body types, not everyone can pull off the same thing. That said if anyone can make ‘sexy and glamorous’ underwear it’s Dita.
