The UK Lingerie Awards 2012 celebrated the world of underwear this week – and it seems TOWIE fave Lucy Mecklenburgh took the theme quite literally when she turned up in a very raunchy red number.

Essex girl Lucy, 21, showed off her killer curves in a Vanilla Boutique tight bandage dress with black lace decorations around her bust, making the most of her ample assets.

Her hair was swept off her shoulders in a chic loose up-do.

‘Looking forward to the @UKLingerieAward’s tonight with @Mario_Falcone, Will b nice to see @GeorgiaHorsley1 @Dannymcfly xx,’ Tweeted Lucy before the event.

Lucy‘s fiancé Mario Falcone, 24, joined her at the bash to make sure the only male attention she received in her skimpy outfit would be from him.

Also at the do was Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding, 30, who seemed to have found a new friend in Lucy.

‘Me Sarah Harding at the @UKLingerieAward .. X,’ Tweeted Lucy, along with a photo of the pair together.

Lingerie Football League tickets in Kent go on sale Sept. 24

The women’s Lingerie Football League returns in December to Kent.

Tickets go on sale Monday, Sept. 24 for an exhibition game Saturday, Dec. 15 at the ShoWare Center between the Seattle Mist and the BC Angels in what’s billed as the Pacific Cup “Border War” between LFL Canada and LFL USA.

“Our focus in 2012 has been to brand LFL beyond our U.S. borders and the Pacific Cup will be a great annual rivalry game serving to engage not only our established Seattle Mist fan base but a growing BC Angels fan nation,” said Mitchell Mortaza, founder and chairman of the Las Vegas-based Lingerie Football League, in a media release.

The league plans to make the Pacific Cup an annual game between the Seattle Mist and the BC Angels with home venues alternating each season.

After three years of play, the LFL in April canceled the 2012 season as officials decided to switch the league’s season to the spring and summer rather than the fall-winter schedule used since the league started in 2009. Kent has had a team for three years.

The 12-team league features scantily clad women playing seven-on-seven tackle football on a 50-yard field. They play 17-minute halves. Each offense features a quarterback, center, two running backs and three receivers.

The players wear helmets with clear face shields, shoulder pads, sports bras, panties, elbow and knee pads.

Players are not paid and attend tryouts to make the team rosters.

Tickets for the Pacific Cup cost $15 to $85 and are available at the ShoWare box office and showarecenter.com.
