There is nothing that makes us happier than when we see women of all different shapes, sizes and ethnicities on the runway. This weekend, You! Lingerie let gorgeous pregnant models strut their stuff, with their baby bumps on full display, at their fashion show during Lingerie Fashion Week in New York.

You! Lingerie is a brand that offers fashionable but affordable maternity and nursing brands. It is founded by Uyo Okebie-Eichelberger, who created the label after struggling to find sexy and wallet-friendly lingerie while she was pregnant. Everything in the shops was either boring and functional, or high-end lingerie with designer price tags. The resulting collection is fun and gorgeous lingerie for moms-to-be and mothers.

The brand has featured pregnant models on their runway shows before. For You! Lingerie’s recent Spring/Summer 2015 show, models were decked out in glitter and colorful makeup, and choppy black bob wigs. The playful styling perfectly complemented the colorful lingerie, and the overall look really celebrated the pregnant female body.

Lots of people are still surprised to see pregnant models walking down the runway. But doesn’t it make perfect sense that pregnant women should model lingerie for expectant mothers? It’s great that You! Lingerie recognizes this, and truly celebrates the female form.

But on Monday Imogen Anthony took everything back to basics.

The 23-year-old Instagrammed a racy snap of herself donning black lingerie, alongside the self-supportive mantra ‘love thyself.’

Looking dolled up and ready for a shoot, her flat tummy and the top of her trim pins were also on show in the snap.

On Friday Imogen told Daily Mail Australia at the Elle Style Awards in Sydney that, when it comes to having children, there’s ‘no rush.’

‘It will happen but I’m enjoying being skinny. [Kyle] is enjoying living. He’s cluck and I’m clucky,’ she explained.

At the event she revealed one of the pieces in her yet-to-be named clothing line, telling DMA she’s ‘done all of the pieces but this is one of the first that I’m deciding to showcase.’

Her dress’s heavy black material draped down to a pair of leather ankle boots, which could be seen clearly through two large gaping slits on both sides of her torso.

Underneath as part of the ensemble were two thin straps shown on either side of her slender frame.

But the young starlet was keeping relatively schtum on her clothing range, not even giving away the title.

‘I haven’t released the name of my collection yet. I know what it is but it has to be the right time.’
