After taking fashion week by storm, Kendall is reportedly in the running to be a Victoria’s Secret Angel, according to In Touch. Kendall has walked in runway shows for Marc Jacobs, Balmain, and Givenchy, but “Kendall once said her biggest dream was to be an angel,” a source told In Touch.

According to the same source, Victoria’s Secret has noticed “all the buzz” Kendall has generated for the shows she’s walked in, and would “love to lock in a contract with her.” The only issue is Kendall’s mom and manger, Kris Jenner, is reportedly asking for too much money.

Kendall has already worked with longtime Victoria’s Secret photographer Russell James and is set to be in the photographer’s book “Angels” out later this month, so walking in the lingerie brand’s annual fashion show would be a logical next step. She has also tackled more revealing gigs, like the aforementioned “Angels” book or when she walked Marc Jacob’s Fall/Winter 2014 runway show, so if this deal does end up going through, it should be a piece of cake for the reality star and rising model.

Why Cars Are Driving the Look of Spring Fashion

The relationship between the auto and the mode has always been symbiotic; both, after all, are built for speed. From Gatsby all the way to today’s shows in Paris, the fashionable have been avid motorists, and designers have responded to their wheeled passions. Take Sonia Delaunay, who in the twenties in France had a car painted to match a coat she designed. By the car-obsessed fifties, exaggerated lingerie silhouettes resembled the fins on the Thunderbirds and Cadillacs of the era. Zoom ahead to the eighties, when Thierry Mugler prints presented grille-inspired get-ups, and onward to Paris today at Louis Vuitton, where Nicolas Ghesquière brought the spring season across the finish line with car prints that left viewers’ motors purring.
