We’re not sure about… Slogan styles
Hair accessories brand Kitsch is launching a range of slogan hair ties. We have nothing against slogans, but there’s a time and a place for them – having a band in your hair that reads “nerd” is not it.

Barbara Graves, whose can’t-miss sultry voice could be heard for many years on the radio advertising her lingerie and swimsuit business, was feted July 26 at a party in her honor. After 41 years as owner of Barbara Graves’ Intimate Fashions, Graves is retired. Her husband, Barry McDaniel, hosted a “Farewell Tour” at Next Level Events.
A table near the entrance held years of memories in the form of photos of family and friends, old advertisements and store T-shirts, while a looped slide show of other photos was projected onto the wall. About 150 friends, former models and employees enjoyed a buffet dinner and an evening of dancing to music by The Rockets.
In addition to being a business owner, Graves has long been involved in the local community. For many years she provided fashions for the Arkansas Repertory Theatre’s fundraiser, “A Passion for Fashion,” and other fundraising fashion shows, and has served as a Little Rock city director and vice mayor.
