When we rejoin the drama in Hollyoaks on Wednesday 27th January, it’s as Nathan shows Myra the sexy underwear he’s bought for Rachel, but while watching from the camper van, poor Diego gets the wrong end of the lingerie stick and thinks Nathan is giving them to Myra.
We’ll then see Diego telling Rachel about Myra and Nathan’s ‘affair’ as he starts to pack his things, ready to leave town…
Later, it’s Tango night at The Dog, and although Nathan tries to make it up to Rachel, he thinks he’s lost her. And while that’s going on, we’ll see that Nancy is suspicious about what Darren’s hiding from her.
Meanwhile, DS Thorpe arrives to inform Sienna, Nico and Maxine that they are going to close the case on Patrick’s disappearance, which follows Maxine’s request to have Patrick officially declared dead…
However, when Sienna suggests holding a memorial for Patrick in Jubilee Gardens by the City Wall, Maxine’s horrified.
Later on, they get a call from Patrick’s solicitor, and it’s revealed that everything has been left to Maxine. Once that’s sunk in, Maxine considers splitting the money with Sienna and Nico, but when she again encounters Sienna’s venom, she changes her mind.
The next visit to Hollyoaks is on Thursday 28th January, and the drama kicks off when we see that Maxine is alarmed to find Patrick’s will is on fire!
Sienna and Nico also arrive at the scene, but who is responsible?
The action then moves to Patrick’s memorial, and it’s clear that Maxine needs Darren by her side. However, Nancy is still suspicious about Darren’s cagey behaviour, while Sienna decides to get answers about why Patrick left everything to Maxine…
In the meantime, as people start to gather for Patrick’s memorial, Maxine panics when she sees Ben drilling into the wall to secure a plaque. However, she’s soon distracted when Sienna arrives and launches an attack on Maxine, accusing her of manipulating her father.
Later, a traumatised Maxine is confused when she hears Patrick’s voice over the baby monitor…
Elsewhere, Joanne calls Simone to tell her about an opening at her firm, and Louis’ heart sinks.
Meanwhile, Lisa sets a romantic scene for a movie night with Zack, while elsewhere, Tom gives Alfie advice on how to let Jade know how he feels, which comes after Alfie confides that he wants to be Jade’s boyfriend.
Also in this episode, James returns, but Cindy tells him she doesn’t need his help anymore. However, she does need Holly’s help to try and get Dirk back…
She waits for Holly in The Hutch, but James is there too, so Holly is furious when she turns up and sees them together, thinking her mum has moved on from Dirk.
However, things take a turn when Holly tells her mum about her police caution for possessing cannabis, prompting Cindy to call James for help…

Aerie Features Teen With Normal Body In Campaign

Ever since vowing not to retouch their models a couple of years ago, Aerie—American Eagle’s lingerie and loungewear offshoot aimed at younger women—has continued their non-Photoshopping tradition with their #AerieREAL campaign. Their latest ads feature 19-year-old self-proclaimed Wilhelmina “curve model” and “Queen of In-Between” Barbie Ferreira.
According to Refinery29, the ads have not yet been released, but a teaser video shows Ferreira lounging by a pool, spouting body-positive words of wisdom. “I am unapologetically myself, no matter what anyone’s opinion is,” she says in the clip. “Not being retouched in the images is something that’s very important to me—people knowing that, that’s what I look like without anyone’s perception of what my body needs to look like.”

“We cast Barbie because she’s got nothing to hide, she’s strong and beautiful—she embraces her real self, which is the spirit of the Aerie Real message,” Aerie global brand president, Jen Foyle, told Refinery29. Since the release of the campaign, Ferreira received backlash and promptly shut it down on Twitter:
