She is known for giving Jennifer Lopez her booty to die for and Gwyneth Paltrow a stomach envied by women the world over.

And on Monday fitness guru Tracy Anderson showed she is clearly a firm follower of the exercise regime she advocates to her clients while enjoying a break in Miami.

The 40-year-old workout guru displayed a washboard stomach and lean limbs as she went for a walk along the shore.

Wearing a skimpy white lace string bikini her choice of beach wear left little to the imagination. 

With her blonde hair slicked back off her face after she had taken a dip in the surf, she walked through the waves showing off her toned torso in the barely there two piece.

And as Tracy turned to walk up the beach her lingerie-like bathers gave onlookers a good view of her toned physique.

After enjoying a solo swim, the fitness star later decided to take a stroll along the water line with her three-year-old daughter Penelope.

The tiny tot wore a mini bikini made up of a white top with red floral detail paired with turquoise and white bottoms.

Penelope clasped her mothers hand, her white blonde locks pulled away from her face in a cute bun.

Meanwhile her mum was wearing a pair of red sunglasses which she perched on top of her head pushing her blonde locks off of her face. 

After enjoying a walk in the sunshine Tracy took her daughter into the water for a dip. 

Carefully holding both her hands she let her enjoy the waves, the little girl beaming in the surf.

It’s not been all play and no work for Tracy while enjoying her time in Miami – she took to Instagram on Sunday and revealed she was visiting to host Vitality week – a body consult service she hosts which can cost upwards of $1000 to attend.

Tracy’s The Method fitness program is followed by a host of stars, most notably Gywneth Paltrow, who she recently launched an organic food and drink meal service called 3 Green Hearts, alongside actress Maria Baum.

The Oscar winning actress has been a vocal advocate of the exercise guru’s regime and the pair are also close friends.

Tracy has said the pair like to work out together and also indulge saying of both of them: ‘She and I will both feel it and have a struggle if we don’t show up for our workout. I would be obese.’

Jennifer Lopez is also a fan of her regime – and has credited her physique to being committed to regularly using The Method as part of her training.

She said: ‘([I’m like) a fighter, going into the ring. I do my cardio and I do my workouts with the Tracy Anderson Method,’

However it was the fitness guru’s association with Madonna which first thrust her into the public eye, with the singer speaking openly about how training with Tracy had given her a tough physique.

But despite once being very close, the pair fell out in 2009 and have not recovered their friendship since.
