After all, it had been a very big night for the Keeping Up With The Kardashians patriarch, who was in the front row to see 20-year-old daughter Kendall lead the runway.

Kendall’s proud father Caitlyn, formerly known as athlete Bruce Jenner, even put aside his family tension with ex-wife Kris to support her as she made her Victoria’s Secret debut.

While they were not seated together, Kris, 60, and Caitlyn reunited backstage at the New York catwalk show following a tumultuous year that saw them split under the tension of his gender transition.

Caitlyn sat with pals while Kris was joined in the audience by toyboy boyfriend Corey Gamble, who was celebrating his 35th birthday.

The former couple – who were married for almost 24 years – officially divorced in March, just before Caitlyn came out as a transgender woman.

In a teaser for the upcoming series of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, she said: ‘Dad and mom put me and Kylie into choosing between them.’

Kris previously lashed out at Caitlyn, telling her to ‘go f**k himself’. She was furious with her ex – who was known as Bruce before he transitioned – after she accused her of bullying her during their 24 years of marriage in her first interview as a woman. 

But they put aside any lingering tension and posed up happily at the star-studded Victoria’s Secret show.

Kendall banned her famous siblings from attending the annual lingerie spectacular.

The reality star explained that having sisters Kim, Khloe and Kourtney – and presumably Kylie – there on the day would just be too much to handle.

Kendall was pictured backstage at the Lexington Armory in New York on Tuesday wearing a silky satin pink robe as she had her make-up and hair perfected. 

She found out just last week that she had scooped one of the coveted spots in the show.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star told DailyMail.com at the event: ‘Gigi was born an Angel.’

She was able to make the event despite ongoing health troubles with Lyme diseases. She said she was ‘tired’ but still so proud – and very emotional.

She told DailyMail.com: ‘I brought a tissue with me.’

A snapshot of the two pals cuddling up was posted on the Victoria’s Secret PINK Instagram page, with the caption: ‘First time in the #VSFashionShow for these #besties.’

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will air on CBS on Tuesday, December 8 at 10/9c.
