Celebrity Underthings: Halle Berry is launching a new lingerie collection, Scandale Paris, at select Target stores and online at Target.com on Oct. 27.
Founded in 1932, Scandale was rediscovered by Berry, who partnered with Lingerie manufacturer Erik Ryd, owner of Hop Lun, to introduce the brand globally.
“I fell in love with Scandale while I was in Paris, because the brand reminded me of the city itself – beautiful and inspiring,” Berry said in a news release. “I am excited for the U.S. debut to be at Target and to launch the brand globally in 2015. I look forward to giving more women the chance to enjoy what European women have come to love for more than eight decades.”
The first collection of Scandale Paris will feature 10 items including bras for $16 and $18, and panties for $7.

Scandale Paris
Elegant, sophisticated and undeniably sexy? Must be Halle Berry‘s new lingerie line.
The Oscar winner is adding lingerie designer to her résumé, teaming up with Target to launch the revitalized Scandale Paris line. And really, we’re not surprised—Esquire‘s 2008 Sexiest Woman Alive knows a thing or two about, well, looking sexy.
The 10-piece collection blends Parisian romance with a sense of timeless sophistication. And the best part? The intimates are designed to fit a bargainsita’s budget—we’re talking $16 bras, ladies!
NEWS: Halle Berry debuts bob haircut, looks stunning per usual
“I fell in love with Scandale while I was in Paris, because the brand reminded me of the city itself—beautiful and inspiring,” Berry said in a statement. “I am excited for the US debut to be at Target and to launch the brand globally in 2015. I look forward to giving more women the chance to enjoy what European women have come to love for more than eight decades.”
We have zero doubt that Berry will integrate all of her ultra-chic style into the lingerie line. While we don’t have any sneak peeks of the actual intimates, we do have a sultry black-and-white shot of the actress working a heavy smoky eye and a short pixie cut (which has since transformed into a trendy little bob). And obviously, the Extant actress looks just as smoking hot as ever!

Her knowledge of what women want matched with our lingerie expertise and Scandale’s rich heritage is what makes this collaboration so special.”
