British model Abbey Clancy may have been the winner of Strictly Come Dancing, but the WAG is strictly in trouble with lingerie boss Michelle Mone.

The two have reportedly become embroiled in a cat fight dubbed ‘bra wars’ after the Liverpudlian posed in her underwear for brands Veet and Scholl.

As a result, she is no longer the face and body of Ultimo – the firm Michelle owns.

Bra wars: Abbey Clancey's contract with Ultimo has ended because of a reported bust up with CEO Michelle Mone

Bra wars: Abbey Clancey’s contract with Ultimo has ended because of a reported bust up with CEO Michelle MoneAccording to The Sun’s Dan Wootton, it has sparked bad blood between the women.

On Monday morning, Michelle tweeted: ‘Re:today’s reports, unfortunately we had exclusivity issue with Abbey’s mgmt, she’s a great girl. We look forward to releasing her last campaign.’

A
source said: ‘It has all kicked off between Michelle and Abbey and
we’re calling it bra wars. Abbey is only two-thirds of the way through
her contract, but it is clear the relationship between them has
completely broken down.

‘Michelle was unhappy about the picture of Abbey in her knickers for Veet. But Abbey is adamant she’s done nothing wrong.’

Representatives for both women said: ‘Each party have decided to to terminate the contract due to creative differences.’

Abbey first became an ambassador for the brand in December 2013, when she replaced Michael Buble’s wife Luisana Lopilato.

Awkwardly, the latest campaign was only released a few weeks ago.

It is a considerable change of tune
for Mone, founder of Ultimo, who recently praised Abbey for her
work on the latest campaign.

‘Abbey looks gorgeous in the new Ultimo designs, which are
perfect for injection some colour into your lingerie drawer this summer,’ she said.

She
is the latest in a long line of glamorous women to have appeared in
Ultimo campaigns, with predecessors including Mel B,
Penny Lancaster, Sarah Harding and Rachel Hunter.

Michelle previously dropped Kelly Brook as the face of Ultimo in 2010, just six months into a two year contract when the model revealed plans to strip for Playboy.

At the time, the Scots businesswoman tweeted: ‘Ultimo are looking for new FaceBody to take over from Kelly Brook.

‘Her two-year contract lasted six months. We wish her all the best with Playboy.’

Abbey is so dim. Clearly her contract would have stated not posing in underwear for other companies while tied to Ultimo. Her management must be pretty bad too for not advising her!

I hate it when celebrities do this – a company pays you easy money to endorse their product – the easiest kind of money anyone with good looks can make, then you disrespect it by wearing a competitor’s brand for a photoshoot. She is a model – she should know better. Alicia Keys did the same thing, signed by Blackberry for millions of dollars, was caught using an i-phone. Of Course, BB dropped her. Nothing wrong with using a competitor’s product – just don’t be caught with it outside your home when you are being paid top dollars. I also believe Kim K. did the same thing with Carl Jnrs and In and Out Burger. She was dropped too – silently.

Don’t see Michelle Mone being much of a woman’s woman in the first place. All she is interested in is making money. Abbey probably had more creative idea’s but it’s Michelle’s way or the high way.

Making money is quite an important part of running a business. These girls are her employees, not her friends.

Maybe Michelle should use her business savvy and have the contracts day that if her reps do photo shoots in their underwear then they MUST use Ultimo. If it’s for Playboy or similar them at least 3 of the photos must include an item from the Ultimo range. Sacking all these great models only gives Michelle a bad rep and negative publicity. Use your head Michelle. Simples!

Good for you Michelle, a no nonsense business woman. Clancy thinks she walks on water after winning some tin pot TV show, her days are numbered, hopefully.

No one would ever employ Michelle Mone, so she had no choice but to become self-employed.

Veet is a hair removal product I believe. Cor, she’s only got a pair of plain, drab knickers on so would have thought it would be good for ultimo.

Topless row: William, Kate respond strongly to press intrusion, win French …

LONDON – Prince William and Kate Middleton’s aggressive legal strategy over topless photos of Britain’s likely future queen is the first salvo in what could be a decades-long tug-of-war over their family’s privacy.

A French court ruled in favour of the royal couple on Tuesday in their fight over the photos, but the scope of that ruling will be limited.

The unauthorized topless photos of Kate have already been widely published in France, Italy, Ireland and on the Internet — lessening the impact of Tuesday’s court injunction against future publication inside France.

The royals’ strong stance also included a bid to persuade French prosecutors to launch a criminal inquiry to target the offending photographer.

The wealthy royal couple did not gain much on paper — the court-imposed fine was about $2,500 — but legal experts and royal watchers say the action was designed to demonstrate their willingness to use all legal means to prevent future press intrusion.

That will become even more important when the couple have a child, who would become third in the line of succession to the British throne, said Joe Little, the managing editor of Majesty magazine.

“This was done because they want to set a benchmark for the future,” he said.

“They want to send a warning to anybody who might think of doing something similar in the future.”

The fast legal intervention, which developed within hours of the publication of the photos Friday in a French gossip magazine, represents a break from Queen Elizabeth II’s traditional policy of using legal action only as a means of last resort. It also reflects William’s determination not to let the press harass Kate as it did his late mother, Princess Diana, Little said.

Still, the case shows the unlikelihood of controlling photos through legal means once they have been published.

Closer magazine was ordered to turn over all of its digital copies of the photos, but that has little meaning in a world where millions of copies can be made and distributed in the blink of an eye.

The revealing pictures will follow Middleton for the rest of her life — not unlike the snapshots of her appearance in a charity fashion show wearing black lingerie and a sheer dress during her university days.

“Clearly, the harm has been done,” said Christopher Mesnooh, an American lawyer working in France for Field Fisher Waterhouse. “Thousands, now tens of thousands of copies, are now in public circulation. A legal decision is a wonderful thing to obtain and the royal couple did exactly what they should have done. But you know the magazine is out there and I suspect most of you have already seen copies of that magazine, so the basic, the initial harm, has been done.”

He said magazine executives had concluded in advance they had little to fear from an adverse court ruling when they decided to print the photographs, obtained by a photographer who trained a long lens on the royal couple as they sunbathed on a private estate in southern France.
