PSIwms controls distribution centre at new factory with higher daily throughput

Berlin, 8 January 2013 – With its standard warehouse management software solution PSIwms, logistics software specialist PSI Logistics GmbH will in future take full control of the distribution centre at the new factory of Eastern European lingerie manufacturer Milavitsa in Minsk, Belarus.

In the first phase of the project, the stocks of the three existing warehouse sites will be transferred directly to PSIwms at the new site in Minsk, which is equipped with 63,000 shelf spaces and 3,600 pallet spaces. In the second phase, the conveyor systems, two sorters and an automatic packaging system with a linked weighing and a labelling system will be integrated into the PSI system. PSIwms controls the entire transfer process for articles leaving production. PSI has implemented the special requirements of the lingerie manufacturer in the system, such as multi-stage quality checks and mechanical packaging and labelling of the finished products.

The goods receipt process not only covers the incoming lingerie from production but also goods from various sources and countries. The article storage and retrieval processes are controlled via the interface to the material flow controller while taking into account the order of the articles in their distribution across the sorters, the correctly sorted packing of the lingerie according to colour and size as well as the labelling of the articles according to market objectives. With this implementation of PSIwms and automated processes, Milavitsa is expecting a 50 percent higher daily throughput in future.

Milavitsa has been producing lingerie for around 50 years and is one of the biggest lingerie producers in Eastern Europe. The company’s products are sold in more than 25 countries around the world.

On the basis of its own software products, PSI AG develops and integrates complete solutions for energy management (electricity, gas, oil, heat), production management (metals, automotive, mechanical engineering, mining, logistics) and infrastructure management for transport and safety. PSI was founded in 1969 and employs about 1,600 persons worldwide.

Penelope Cruz Shows Her Charms Singing In Spanish In Sexy Lingerie (VIDEO)

We all know Penelope Cruz can dance and act — and now she’s shown that she can also definitely sing.

As if her debut singing for the 2006 film “Volver” and 2009 “Nine” weren’t enough, recently a new video of the Spanish actress was released with Cruz looking very sensual while performing a duo with her compatriot Miguel Bosé.

The black-and-white video shows both artists in different hotel rooms, where the actress boasts her sweet voice and throws herself onto the bed dressed in sexy lingerie, while singing “Decirnos Adiós” (Saying ‘Good Bye’), composed by her brother Eduardo Cruz.

“Penelope sings fabulously and, above all, she has a lot of personality in her voice and enjoys it a lot, something that you can’t say about everyone,” Bosé told Spanish wire service EFE.

Cruz was one of the special guests on Bosé’s new album “Papito”, along with the voices of Joaquín Sabina, Juan Luis Guerra, Tiziano Ferro, Dani Martin and Pablo Alborán, who also collaborated on the production.

The fact that she’s yelling, cursing, sobbing and crying at the same time is enough to make the scene hilarious, but when Maria Elena accuses Cristina of suffering from “chronic dissatisfaction,” and calls her a “spoiled little sh**,” we can’t help but burst into laughter!

• “Volver”

  Forget the fact that she sounds exquisite, Penelope’s access to her emotions as Raimunda sings her heart out in “Volver” brought tears to our eyes.

• “Blow”

  Cruz’s scene-stealing performance as the money-hungry, cocaine-addicted Mirtha Jung in the drug drama “Blow,” showed Hollywood she had serious acting chops. Our favorite scene? That scene in the car when Mirtha accuses George (Johnny Depp) of cheating on her with his best friend. “You’re not facking me, you gotta be facking somebody else.”

  “I’ll be here, waiting for you. With my legs open.” That is all…
