Just six months ago she was left devastated after her husband of 20 years left her for her designer.
But Michelle Mone is clearly a woman made of tougher stuff and has put her heartbreak behind her to find love again.
And last night, the Ultimo boss stepped out for the first time with her new man, financier Karl French.
New love: Ultimo bra boss Michelle Mone stepped out last night in London with boyfriend Karl French
The hot new couple were snapped at the British Graduate Fashion Week Gala award show reception and made a very handsome pairing.
And they looked very relaxed and comfortable in each other’s company and never strayed to far from each other’s side with one observer telling the Sun: ‘They stayed very close all night and he seemed to be enjoying the limelight with his new squeeze.
‘In fact, both of them couldn’t wipe the smiles off their faces.’
Smiley: Michelle beamed for the camera as she put her marriage split woes firmly behind her
Michelle met Karl in April as she
holidayed in Dubai with her children and was introduced to him by former
footballer John Barnes and his wife Andrea.
She
said: ‘It was not love at first sight, but just a lot of chatting. We
clicked. He didn’t know anything about me, which I thought was amazing.
‘At first I thought, okay, he is having me on here. But then I realised he has been living in Dubai for 15 years.’
Soon after they started dating, Michelle
underwent an operation to remove a cancerous mole, which she was told
could have been caused by sunbeds and the years she spent on them in her
twenties.

And she said Karl had been her ‘rock’ throughout her ordeal and said: ‘I am taking it one day at a time.
‘But I am smiling again, and that is thanks to Karl.’
At Christmas, Michelle’s husband Michael left her for her former colleague Samantha Bunn.
But determined not to let it get her down, she said: ‘I was heartbroken for 5 months but you know, onwards and upwards, move forward, no more tears.’

So the Michelle Mone PR machine proceeds apace – with the help of sycophantic DM artices like this one! Sorry but I think you’ll find those few readers who actually know who she is don’t especially like her!

This daft woman makes it up as she goes along!! Long before last Christmas, SHE announced that the marriage was over. Sad and all that, says she, but there you go. Right, fast forward, and dumped hubby gets himself a lovely new lady. Mone/Moan has big hissy fit and rewrites history.

Rebound!

Michelle Moan – ego the size of Glasgow and so needy – why the persistent fame hunger?? It stinks of desperation.

Are most people scared of being single or something ? All the celebs featured in DM seems to be with new partners within weeks of splitting up. Even if they have had a long marriage.

Shapewear: The prettiest practical lingerie

I remember accompanying my mom on shopping trips to Sears when I was a little girl. Rounding the corner to the lingerie section caused great confusion, as grown-up ladies’ undergarments looked nothing like mine. They had enough fabric to reach the ribcage and only came in two boring colours: nude and black. How bland! A blink of an eye later and I’m old enough to start shopping for that special underwear myself; the type that changes the way your body looks beneath clothing.
Good for me, shapewear has come a long way since sulking in my mom’s shadow. Modern tummy-control intimates are way more appealing, with a wider variety of pieces available and plenty of pretty patterns (and laces) to choose from.

Dolce Gabbana, for example, has designed a beautiful one piece that looks good enough to eat, with oversized onions, lemons and daffodils painted upon it in bright, artistic detail. Even the less fashionable, more practical body slimmers – by brands like Spanx, Skinnygirl, Wolford and YummyTummie - are seriously appealing and well-worth wearing if you care how you feel in your clothes.
The unexpected find was pieces you could wear without clothing overtop. As in, shapewear that is beautiful enough to expose and wear as a garment on its own – the best ‘two birds, one stone’ arrangement we’ve come across yet!
The degrees of “slimming” have widened, too. Shapewear is no longer reserved for the most curvaceous – they’re now designed to smooth and shape even slim figures striving for perfection. Just as we’ve discussed in previous posts, a woman’s size doesn’t really matter these days, so long as she looks her best.
Shapewear helps us look our best, so we went shopping! Check out our favourite pieces we’d love to have in our top drawer:
