Lingerie Football Brawl: Philadelphia Passion And Toronto Triumph Fight (VIDEO)

Famed football coach Vince Lombardi once said, “Football is like life — it requires perseverance, self-denial, hard work, sacrifice, dedication and respect for authority.”

Depending on the league, it occasionally also requires lingerie.

In the video above, members of the Toronto Triumph and Philadelphia Passion brawl during a Lingerie Football League (yes, this is a real thing) game on Friday night.

We’re not sure what Lombardi would have to say regarding the attire or the sportsmanship, but he’d have a hard time arguing against the competitive nature of the teams. In fact, this is far from the first fight to break out during an LFL game since the league came into existence in 2009.

Perhaps the most surprising thing about the game wasn’t that women were playing football in their underwear, but rather that Toronto was able to field a team at all. In October, 20 of the 26 players with Toronto’s franchise left the team due to concerns over poor equipment and coaching.

King News 5 in Seattle reported that Mitchell Mortaza, the league’s founder and CEO, is considering starting a youth league for young girls.

(PRLEAP.COM) Luxury lingerie seller Journelle (http://www.journelle.com), which caters to the modern woman, brought its expertise and wide selection of lingerie to New York’s affluent Upper East Side when it opened its fourth store on November 26, 2011. Located at 1266 Third Avenue, the 1,200-square-foot store is the third Journelle outlet in New York City, and its decor reflects the style of Journelle’s existing locations with designs implemented by London-based Von Preussen Pease Reynolds Architects.

Journelle is a designer lingerie store designed to provide women with lingerie that matches their own sense of inner and outward beauty. Journelle’s concept for the ultimate customer experience concentrates on understated luxury. The new location features many of the same basics carried in all of their stores, from brands like Chantelle, La Perla and Elle McPherson. In addition to these styles, the new location will also offer more luxurious pieces from designers like Jenny Packham and I. D. Sarrieri that will appeal to the Upper East Side clientele.

“We are very excited to open our fourth store on New York’s Upper East Side. We look forward to sharing our love of lingerie and the beautiful products we carry with the people in this great neighborhood!” says founder Claire Chambers.

Journelle was founded in New York City in 2007, and is an elegant lingerie store with three locations in New York and one in Miami, Florida, as well as a growing e-commerce business. Known for its high quality lingerie and impeccable presentation, Journelle offers a tastefully-curated selection of lingerie and focuses on providing customers with compassionate, expert assistance.
