Journelle, the New York City-based lingerie chain, is launching a private label collection. The store, with three outlets in Manhattan and one forthcoming in Chicago, will introduce its own line of lingerie, a 25-item collection including eight bras, boys shorts, bikinis and thongs, Sept. 8.
“It’s our version of everyday basics,” said Claire Chambers, who founded Journelle in 2007. “We’re starting with styles we call ‘everyday lovely,’ which are unlined demis, a few T-shirt bras in special laces.” The collection is produced primarily in Asia with European and American laces. Prices range from $58 to $92. For now, the line is exclusive to Journelle stores and online. “We’re going to take it slow and test it out with our own stores and customer,” said Chambers.

What a tease! Lady Gaga gave fans a sneak peek as to what she’ll look like in white for her wedding day (or rather, her wedding night!) and opened up about how she communicates to fiancé Taylor Kinney in the latest issue of CR Fashionbook.

In the style spread, the “Edge of Glory” singer, 29, rocks contrasting black and white lingerie looks titled “eccentric” and “classic.” The lighter sexy getup (a see-through dress by valentino with a ruffled, lacy bustier and Giuseppe Zanotti heels) definitely evokes the image of a bride on the wedding night.

While the star modeled the sultry undergarments and played the sexy bride, putting her toned legs to work, she also spoke sincerely about how she communicates with fiancé Taylor Kinney, 34, who proposed on Valentine’s Day with a pink, 15-carat, heart-shaped diamond ring. “I’m much better at communicating through my work. Sometimes I feel like, even with my fiancé, I’ll tell him I feel a certain way, but then he understands me better if I create a song and play it for him,” she said. “I wrote a song for him the other day and it really sat with him because it was something I couldn’t say with words, only through song.”
