Josie Cunningham has admitted her first engagement ring “wasn’t expensive”, but revealed her fiancé has now offered her a budget – to get a second ring, sex toys and underwear.

The NHS boob job mum announced her engagement to convicted woman beater Andrew Goy, with a snap of her pink heart-shaped ring.

However, after a jewellery expert concluded it wasn’t actually real, and claimed it probably cost around £100, Josie has defended it by revealing she’s been offered a BUDGET to get herself a second sparkler.

Plus a few added extras.

She wrote on Twitter today: “Yes, my first engagement ring wasn’t expensive, but it’s the thought that counts…. However… I was given a bigger budget and opted for two engagement rings, a s*** load of sex toys and sexy underwear instead.”

Always staying traditional.

The controversial mum added a snap of the new ring, which looks a lot more traditional with a diamond band and small diamond at the front.

Fine diamond jewellery expert Lewis Malka previously told us of Josie’s first ring: “The strength of the pink and the size of the stone makes me think the stone isn’t a real diamond. A real diamond ring like that would set you back a couple of million pounds. This one probably cost less than £100.”

Earlier this week, Josie’s family staged an intervention on Monday night – in a desperate bid to STOP the publicity-mad star marry a convicted woman-beater.

Following the engagement news, Josie’s closest friends and family members dashed to the star’s home to try and stop the wedding plans.

A source close to the star said: “Eleven of Josie’s friends and family turned up at her house last night to express their concerns.

“Originally Josie shut the door and wouldn’t let any of them in. She only eventually opened the door because there were photographers sat outside.”

“It was really emotional, Josie is head over heels in love with Andy even though he has lied to her,” they continued,

“Josie wasn’t aware of there being two accounts of domestic violence, she only knew about the one.

“Andy was meant to stay at Josie’s last night, but ended up having to travel back to Nottingham as friends and family refused to leave her home until they were sure he wasn’t coming back.”

The star had told pals she intends to wed her man in a whirlwind wedding in Vegas next month.

“If Josie goes through with the wedding, she risks having no friends and family around, and being stood at the alter alone,” the source adds.

Goy has been to prison for violent attacks on two former partners. He was jailed for 21 months after a court heard he flew into a rage and punched his ex-partner so many times he broke her jaw and cheekbone.

The court was also told he had a previous assault conviction for attacking another girlfriend.

But mum-of-three Josie, – who first shot to notoriety after boasting about the boob job she’d had on the NHS – appeared to have no worries about his past.

Formula One star Jenson Button finally tied the knot with lingerie model Jessica Michibata as the pair married at a lavish ceremony in Hawaii.

The 34-year-old began dating the Argentine-Japanese model back in December 2008.

While Michibata has always been happy for Button to put his career first, she made no secret of the fact that she had her eye on marriage.

Michibata and Button got engaged in February and tied the knot in Hawaii

As far back as 2009 she said: ‘He told me he wants to get married – he said he is the marrying type. If Jenson wins the title we will celebrate by him getting down on one knee. He told me I am the one for him. I hope he means it.’

While Button, worth a reported £63million, did win that season, an engagement was not forthcoming.

However Michibata had her patience rewarded on Valentine’s Day this year, with a ring reported to be worth £250,000. And the couple walked down the aisle on Monday after a ten-month engagement.

Button had flings with a string of women including Prince Harry’s ex – 29-year-old model Florence Brudenell-Bruce – before meeting Miss Michibata in Tokyo through mutual friends.

But arm-in-arm and exchanging loving glances, the pair looked radiantly happy as they posed for photos and drove off into the sunset after the ceremony this week. The model has previously said: ‘Of course, I read about him being a playboy, but I don’t see that side of him. We spend nights watching films and making sushi rather than going out to nightclubs.’
