If you ask us, a sexy lingerie line was always an inevitable project for the singer. And now that the Intimate Britney Spears Collection is here, we’re pretty excited to check out the sultry styles. From bras and thongs to comfy-meets-sexy loungewear, Britney has covered all your intimate apparel needs basically.

But why lingerie, specifically? It’s something she’s been envisioning for quite some time, it turns out. She told Glamour: “I went to Europe [10 years ago] and I went to a store and it was really, really cool. It was a vintage lingerie sleepwear store. Everything in there was very different and very electric and beautiful. Ever since then, it was like ‘I want to do that. I want a lingerie line.’ It’s something that’s been on my mind for a really long time now, so to be able to put it together and have my dream come true is really amazing.”

Well, hey, Brit, we’re happy we can benefit from your dream, because the designs are pretty appealing. The collection, which runs from $17-79, features 15 sexy looks in all different styles, so there’s definitely something for everyone.

Britney Spears’ New Lingerie Line Debuts at NYFW

Britney Spears can now add “Lingerie Designer” to her résumé as she unveils her sexy collection at New York Fashion Week.

Britney Spears: international pop star, occasional actress, mom of two… lingerie designer?

Ms. Spears has been very busy, with a two-year Vegas residency and now a lingerie line, Intimates by Britney Spears. Spears has been teasing sneak peeks of her new venture for weeks on her website and on social media, but on Tuesday the world got the first complete look of her line at New York Fashion Week.

And while this marks her first foray into lingerie, Spears is no stranger to helming her own brand. She has a total of nine perfumes, and in 2009, she fronted a Candie’s campaign. And while Spears may not be known for her fashion like Rihanna or Lady Gaga, it seems she can hold her own when it comes to lingerie.
