It was MMA fight night — but instead of scantily clad muscle men, it was scantily clad muscle women in lingerie.
Lingerie Fighting Championships 19 featured eight matches Friday night at Silver Nugget in North Las Vegas, and contributing photographer Tom Donoghue of Donoghue Photography was onsite for his action-packed photo gallery.
LFC 19, whose referees in all-black attire look as if they could be MMA fighters themselves, will be available on more than 1,000 cable systems on VOD on Friday, July 11, 2014, at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
SPOILER ALERT: Here are the results, in case you can’t wait for the VOD special:
Fight No. 1: Roxanne “The Viper” Romaro defeated Chelsea “Feisty Fists” London in Round 2 with a rear naked choke.
Fight No. 2: Susan “Tatia” Cordell defeated Riley “Nuclear” Norris in a unanimous decision.
Fight No. 3: Maxine “The Boss” Frost defeated Serina “Honey Punch” Kyle in Round 2 with a rear naked choke. Kyle suffered a knee injury late in the first round that contributed to her loss.
Fight No. 4: Sheila “Crash” Cardinal defeated Beth “Mount Crush” Moore in a split decision.
Fight No. 5: MaiNe “Main Event” Morgan won against Samiha “The Goddess” Glam by forfeit when Glam refused to fight.
Fight No. 6: Lauren “The Animal” Erickson defeated Robyn “Ruthless” Hawkens with an arm bar.
Fight No. 7 (Semi-Main Event): Megan “Baby” Doll upset former LFC champion Brenda “Juice” Jones with a Round 3 knockout.
Fight No. 8 (Main Event): Feather “The Hammer” Hadden successfully defended her LFC title against Holly “The Lotus” Mei with a Round 1 rear naked choke.

This is basically every teenage boy’s wet dream (we can’t believe it really exists) – forget Froch vs. Groves, the big match actually took place last night.
Yes, as all real sports fans will know, it was all about LFC19: Hadden vs Mei.
For those who still have no idea, this is the Lingerie Fighting Championships which took place at the Silver Nugget Casino in Las Vegas on Friday night.
Billed as ‘MMA’s (that’s mixed martial arts) most controversial league’, LFC (which should not be confused with Liverpool Football Club), is exactly what it sounds like – women fighting in their underwear.

Last night, in front of a packed house (hardly surprising considering tickets were a measly $20 on the door) Feather ‘The Hammer’ Hadden (dressed in a sheer black and blue slip) defended her Lingerie Fighting Championship belt against challenger Holly ‘The Lotus’ Mei (who was wearing a fluro pink-trimmed lace maids oufit).

There were also matches between Serina “Honey Punch” Kyle and Maxine “The Boss” Frost as well as Megan “Baby” Doll and Brenda “Juice” Jones.
